I am really disappointed with these shoes. The tongue is very sharp against my ankles. Iāve had to wear the shoes with the laces very loose to make them wearable. I donāt like that look and feel like my shoes could fall off at any time. There is no support within the shoe so walking in them for long periods leaves me with sore feet. My old adidas purchased over five years ago were almost identical but of much better quality. I wore them to work several times a week and held up much longer than expected. I thought these would replace them but they donāt come close.

Tried so hard to get these during Anniversary Pre-Sale (they sold out immediately), then they arrived and the shoes are different colors. ā¹ļøThe right shoe is more rose-toned, while the left is straight-up tan. Really disappointing, so back they go. Hoping to maybe find a return that actually matches. šAs for fit, I found them to run exactly a half-size large. I am a pretty true 8.5, bought the 8 in these based on reviews and they fit perfectly.

I never write reviews but felt like I needed to for these shoes. I see so many people saying they run large. I didnāt find that at all. Many of the Adidas shoes come in unisex (menās) sizing. I ordered the brown pair in the anniversary sale and ordered my regular size. They fit as expected. I compared my 9.5 gazelles to my 8.5 unisex sambas and they were basically the same size. Not sure of some Nordstrom locations get true female sizes and some get unisex or what but I definitely did not need to go down a full size based on many of the reviews.

These are cute for a trendy shoe. The sizing is large like others have noted. I am usually a 6.5 in Adidas Ultraboosts. I ordered a 6.5 and a 6 based on reviews and will be keeping the 6. I went down a half size from my usual size. I didnāt try a full size down with a 5.5. The 6 seemed like it should work. Size down 1/2-1 full size. The blush is kind of a peachy nude color.
Was able to snag these this morning in the earth color. They're a very pretty brown and they look really cute on. Great comfort level right out of the box. That all being said, they run huge. I'm usually a 9.5 sometimes a 10 in sneakers. I had to go down to an 8.5! 8.5!!! What?! Super glad they had them in store and I could try before they completely sold out. Consider going down a whole size if you are wanting these. Also, not sure I'd say "towel" like in texture but it is a rougher suede. This isn't a fashion shoe at the level of Rag and Bone (obviously the price gives that away) so don't expect the suede at that level. Cute, comfortable, affordable, sneakers but BIG!
Love the color combo! Ivory and brown ... very soft, pretty and versatile. Usually a 7.5 but the 7 fit better. Major issue: they squeaked so badly when I walked I could not keep them! I have 3 other Adidas sneaks - not gazelle- and none of them do this. So sad I had to return them! Only other thing I'll mention is that the suede is very "nubby" - intentionally rough and bumpy. Neither a positive or negative, just interesting. I'm sure someone else will be happy to get these, I just could not handle the squeaks. :)
These were a big disappointment. First of all, straight out of the box, they made noises as I walked in them. Second, they felt a bit big for my normal size 9, they rubbed in my heel and did not feel comfortable at all. I have black Reeboks, and they are a lot more comfortable. I have always thought Adidas was a great brand but now Iāve changed my mind. The look is cute but they basically hurt my feet. I couldnāt wait to get back home and take them off. I probably wonāt be able to return them, but I doubt I will wear them again. I asked family members I thought were the same shoe size as me so I could give them away, but nobody I know wears a 9. I guess I will try to sell them.
I was so excited to get my hands on this shoe. I normally wear a 7.5 or an 8 and went with a 7 and I think it fit as it should have. However, the tongue of this shoe is white plasticā¦and not some kind of magical soft plastic. I was struck by the cheap look and feel of it immediately, but more so than that, walking across my living room proved the tongue would cut into the top of my ankle/foot instantly. So disappointed. Donāt be sold by the influencers on this one.
The description indicated to order a size down due to the sizing of this shoe. I did this and it turned out to be too small. I gave these to my daughter-in-law instead of returning them. I then ordered my regular size (7). These are about a half size too large. I am going to keep them, regardless, but I beleive the description should not say a whole size down, but rather a half size down. Thank you.
I typically wear a 9.5 in sneakers, but only sizes 8 and 9 were available when I purchased during the Anniversary sale. The 8 was too small, the 9 is a little loose, but works okay. I donāt mind the look/feel of the plastic tongue but the squeaking is a bit annoying. Ultimately I think this comes down to personal preference. Iām not sure I would pay full price for these but keeping the sale version because they are super cute and the color goes with everything.
