I bought these for my 7yo with ASD. Laces would be an issue so the Velcro strap and elastic laces make a great alternative to traditional laces so he can put them on independently and look almost the same as double Velcro strap ones he has in the smaller size. These are great going out shoes for my son - a little bit neater than his ‘play’ sneakers. They have a harder sole so not as play friendly but he says they are comfy and we love the look of them.
Bought these for my son online. Little bit disappointed that the picture advertised is velcro but what turned up was laces. I assume this is because of sizing. I just wanted velcro for my autistic son who is not quite ready for laces.
