Both colors of the adidas NMD S1 feature a molded knit upper with a sock-like ankle collar on a redesigned sole unit. It replaces the Boost cushion for a thicker gel sole with traction teeth on the outsole. The original EVA foam plugs on the forefoot and heel have been replaced with a new slim fit.
