I would say go down a full size with the Samba. Here is my explanation...I am most consistently a UK 38. That is the sizze that best fits my foot. Typically that is a US size 7/7.5.

I absolutely love these trainers! They look good with so many different outfits, and I mostly wear cream / brown / black and khaki so they are ideal! The arch support is really good which is amazing for me as I have plantar fasciitis - at 33 years old it is so nice to be able to wear something other than Skechers arch fit!!!!! I’m going to buy these in other colours, I’ve just ordered the Earth colour Spezials which also have amazing support. I am a samba and Spezial convert! I am a size 7.5 and I ordered an 8 and these are fine! Fit like my usual trainers which always have a bit of room in them due to that half size.

I am a size 7.5. I have to size down to a 7 for a perfect fit. Soft shoes. I walked for an hour with the shoes right out of the box, with long socks. Comfortable, no issues at all. The leather is supple. It feels like walking on sleepers. No much arch support but for me are super comfortable. After reading reviews I was concerned about two issues: slippery on wet surfaces or rain making causing people to fall, and hurting ankles to the point of blistering or bleeding. I am wearing the shoes with high socks for at least a week, not using the blower hack, but I dont have any issue so far with hurting or blisters, actually I am impressed about comfort and how fast the leather softened. I first purchased the original OG’s and I live in them. I was stalking this 2nd pair in the black and cream combo but my size was always out of stock. For reference, I’m a size 8 men’s/9 women’s in the unisex OG white ones. So when I saw the black ones available in the women’s 9.5, I decided to pull the trigger and see if they would work. Surprisingly, they’re perfect! They fit identical to my other unisex ones in size 9, which surprised me. So these black ones run slightly smaller. I’m thrilled to have both pairs! I also purchased a third pair in the all cream w/ black stripes, but I found those to have a very peachy yellow undertone, which I didn’t care for. So I returned those. I highly recommend the white OGs and black/cream suede ones if you can your hands on them.

I've been stalking these Sambas for months! They have been hard to find, but finally located them in my size at Dick's! I love the low profile -- easy to wear with pants/jeans, athleisure wear, and dresses/skirts. I usually have to size up 1/2 size in sneakers, but these fit perfect at my regular size 9. Only challenge was finding the perfect no-show socks to go with them (I'm too old to do the crew socks!). I have found that my Converse Chuck Taylor socks work great. Now I just want more Sambas in different colors!

Let me start by saying I love these!! They go with everything! I tried them on with long jeans, ankle jeans, baggy, straight cut, dresses, sweats, everything! However, when I’m trying them on I can’t walk comfortably because the back heel top is so stiff it digs right into my heel. I want to love these so bad and keep them but I’m going to have to sit there and bend them for hours before I’d be comfortable wearing them out unfortunately. I received another pair that had light gold stripes and they were so soft from the moment I put them on. So I don’t know what the deal is with these. Fit is true to size. I have been a 6 all my life, had a foot surgery a while back, and in the past few years my feet went to a 6.5. I can wear thin no show socks and thicker socks with ... I love the look of this shoe, which isn't always the best reason to make a purchase -- I admit to giving into my weaknesses. They felt great on first try. I have fussy feet, so I expected I would need to "adjust." But a relatively short walk ended up giving me gouges on both upper heels. My feet sat too low in the shoe, and the back sat too high. I should have recognized this sooner, but I was determined to "break them in." The holes in my heels healed and I tried again. No luck at all. The rubbing was terrible and broke the skin on both heels again. Lesson learned. I need a low profile shoe with a shallow heel cup. These are not that. I still like the way they look.

As a women, unisex shoes are tough since I have medium-narrow feet, narrow heels and a low instep/low volume feet. I measure 9.5W on foot measuring devices. I wear a 10 (41/42) in running shoes of most brands, a 40 narrow in Birkenstock Bends leather sneakers, a 41 in Pumas and a 40.5 in Nike leather sneakers (not running shoes) and a 9 in most sandals due to my low volume feet. I read tons of reviews and went based off of my foot length measurement (10”) and the 41.3/9W/8M are the right length. The toe box is narrower toward the tip but it has decent volume and width for medium feet.
