Classic. I love how they look!
This is for the white with black stripes color. Such a classic. Goes with so much. I was going to do a color but realized that the white/black matches so much more. They have hardly any padding though. I used a comfy insole under the sole they came with and they feel great. My regular size fit with the insert. If you don't want to use an insert, you might need to go down a half size.... Show more

Different from my other Sambas
The insoles in these shoes are very uncomfortable. The Adidas name and logo, which are embossed on the insole, are raised and rough to the touch, and in the short time I wore them around the house, my feet were in pain. Although they look the same, my other Sambas do not have rough insoles like this. Sad to return as the color is just what I was looking for.... Show more

Heads up on the sizing
I love my Sambas. Adidas is consistently large in sizing but not consistent in how much larger. For example, in the Superstar and Stan Smith, I only have to go down 1/2 a size. I would say go down a full size with the Samba. Here is my explanation...I am most consistently a UK 38. That is the sizze that best fits my foot. Typically that is a US size 7/7.5. For sneakers I wear a 7.5/8 for Nike or Reebok. I went with a 7 as that's what I get in Stan Smiths and Superstar for Adidas. The Samba are too long. Not walking out of them too long but slight clown feeling long. I checked the size on the box. Says size 7 US W but 38.5 UK. A 6.5 is what I need which will be a UK 38. I will reorder when back in stock, then I will pass these to my daughter. Until then I will be ... MoreI love my Sambas. Adidas is consistently large in sizing but not consistent in how much larger. Love the look but a strange fit
My shoe size is 8.5 but I read reviews that said to size down so I initially ordered them (elsewhere) in size 8. The 8 was too short so I ordered a second pair from Nordstorm in 8.5 and they were too long. So they didnt fit in either size but I also found them very stiff and the tongues jabbed painfully into the front of my ankle. I wear a medium shoe and they also seemed a little wide. I couldnt wear them so they were returned. I also wanted to mention that these sneakers are marked up substantially by most retailers due to their popularity but I appreciated that Nordstorm only charged $100 which, I assume, is the suggested retail price.... Love them!
I ordered the green here but it was cancelled the next day…drives me crazy that Nordstrom does that - it’s too triggering this close to nords sale, lol. I ended up getting them on FARFETCH and i LOVE them. I did order my regular size and they fit perfectly. I can see why people would recommend sizing down and a 1/2 size down would probably fit me but I have a higher arch and wide feet and my true size is very comfortable. So, I don’t think sizing down would’ve been as comfy for me.... Show more

So happy to have both pairs!
I first purchased the original OG’s and I live in them. I was stalking this 2nd pair in the black and cream combo but my size was always out of stock. For reference, I’m a size 8 men’s/9 women’s in the unisex OG white ones. So when I saw the black ones available in the women’s 9.5, I decided to pull the trigger and see if they would work. Surprisingly, they’re perfect! They fit identical to my other unisex ones in size 9, which surprised me. So these black ones run slightly smaller. I’m thrilled to have both pairs! I also purchased a third pair in the all cream w/ black stripes, but I found those to have a very peachy yellow undertone, which I didn’t care for. So I returned those. I highly recommend the white OGs and black/cream suede ones if you can your hands on them.... Show more

Stylish but uncomfortable!
I wanted to love this pair. They are super cute and a cult classic but the high back heel gives me the most horrible blisters. I tried wearing higher socks and still! I tried with bandaids and it didn’t improve. I can’t wear it more than a couple hours without them pinching me. Now I have this horrible blister mark :(... Show more

The tongue is awful
I don't understand how anyone can tolerate wearing this with the tongue being so stiff and sharp. I have been buying Adidas for most of my life, I love them, but the tongue on these instantly digs into the front of my ankles and the heel is still too loose so it slip around even though the length is barely long enough for me. I usually wear a 9.5-10, generally a 10 in adidas but I got a 9.5 in these. They're cute but I don't want cuts in my ankles so I'll have to send back. Change that tongue, goodness.... Show more

Trifecta
These are my second pair of Sambas. I feel really lucky to have snagged a pair in the black/cream color way. I purchased both the women’s size 6.5 and 6 (or men’s 5.5 and 5, UK size 4 and 3.5 respectively). I usually wear women’s size 6. Both sizes fit though the 6 was more snug. I went with the 6.5. Love how these are comfortable, affordable, and a casual classic!... Show more

Wrong Samba
I would love to give a 5 star rating but I received the wrong item. I’ve been on the waiting list for the Samba OG white/halo blue for weeks. When it was finally available (I was not alerted. I happen to see my size as I was looking at the Nordstrom website.) I quickly placed an order. The shipping was delayed by 4 days. When the shoes finally arrived I was so disappointed to see that the Samba were white/indigo, not the halo blue. I am on the fence about calling customer service to complain….. but is that a waste of my time?... Show more
