Like the original but better. Better materials, feels more comfortable
I'm a standard 11, and these fit really true to size. There is a little bit of sensitivity in the heel, but nothing that survives a handful of wearings of the shoe. The shoes feels more substantial than most sneakers nowadays, and I believe that's because the lux is made from real, actual leather. The leather is a sort of ecru, or off white/cream color, and I was concerned I wouldn't like them compared to the more common white ones I see everywhere, but I think I actually prefer them this way. They look good with anything I've thrown at them - raw denim, shorts, lulu pants, etc.
Extremely comfortable. I like the subtle changes, but still staying true to the original. I purchased the antique white, with a very slightly distressed sole & green 💚 back. Great nod to the OG Stan Smiths
I wear a 9.5 in the regular Stan Smiths, although with the Lux’s, I had to go down a half-size as they fit longer then I anticipated. Besides, materials are quite nice, seems to have a better build quality as well. I love the leather lining/insole as opposed to the typical cloth. The shoe definitely has a bit of an upscale look that helps dress-up casual attire.
For my husband. Size 11 - his usual size. Great quality leather and craftsmanship. Comfortable right out of the box.
