I was expecting not great results from these shows as Adidas are not exactly a go-to hiking shoe brand. B-E-S-T hiking shoes ever. They provide excellent ankle support and are water proof. I wore them without even breaking them in - hiked roughly 5 hours first day in Yosemite in extreme conditions, and they were AWESOME !!!

I wear a 7.5 always across the board, 100% of the time except with Adidas. I wear an 8. I bought these shoes in an 8 like the other 3 pair of Adidas that I have. My toe touches the end. Had to send back. The shoes themselves are SO cute and look good on my feet, but I could no way, no how hike in these with my toe hitting the top end of the shoe.

This footwear did not last through six months period. The order was placed on 9/10/2023 and I received my order on 9/14/2023. I have been wearing TERREX AX4 Hiking Shoes on one mile walks with my dog daily on flat terrain, no hiking of any kind. The fabric inside of shoes has ripped and the soles of both shoes are completely worn off. The inside fabric started ripping after a couple of months of wear. The sole has scuffed slowly over a period of 6 months. I am really disappointed that the lifespan of these shoes is no longer than 6 months with no strenuous hiking. I asked Adidas for a replacement of these shoes since they are still available online. Adidas replied that the approved warranty will receive refunds in gift card only. They can’t send me a replacement. ... MoreThis footwear did not last through six months period. The order was placed on 9/10/2023 and I received my order on 9/14/2023. What a joke! I am a fan of Adidas footwear, because they are wider. But I am completely disappointed about their approach to valued customers. This manufacturing damage to the material did not happen overnight. The footwear slowly became more and more damaged over the period of six months. The shoes were delivered on 9/14/2023. Adidas mentioned that I was 14 days over the six-month warranty period. This damage to defected material has not happened in 14 days after the warranty expired! The defective material has worn off slowly over the period of six months.

I really like these. They are very comfortable. I'm a true size 10 and these felt a very roomy. I have to wear thicker socks. Which is fine. I rather them be a little big than too tight. The were on sale for $29.99. With my REI rewards ended up being free. So that was nice!
I already have leather walking boots but was looking for some light weight walking shoes that would be lighter than boots. The terrex shoes were exactly what I was looking for. The pink parts of the shoe such as the sole are more of a luminous colour. Very comfortable from the moment you wear them, no blisters and the sole which is made by Continental has a superb grip. I’m usually a 7 but sized up to a 7.5 which I do for all trainers. Great service by Start too. I’ve used them for years and delivery was quick.
I haven’t found many hiking shoes that I actually like the way they look. I was happy with look but they are not comfortable. They are very hard/no cushion which could possibly be fixed by adding some inserts. The back alsocomes up high in an awkward spot and rubs. They are true to size. I returned them.
I actually didn't get these for hiking. I play adult softball and cleats hurt my feet. I read where it was suggested to get hiking shoes. They provide great traction and are very comfortable. They're pretty much true to size, but slightly big. I have to wear thicker socks to make them fit better. Only took a couple of years to break them in and not run blisters on my ankles.
Worm them on big dog walks for the past two days. Today was pi**ing it down and my feet were still dry and that’s after accidentally going in some puddles.Really comfortable and hugs your feet. Got my bf a pair in a different colour and he loves his too
I bought these for my wife and they fit true to size -- ordered a size 7 and she typically wears a size 7. She said that they're super comfortable straight out of the box and provide excellent, lightweight support for our daily dog walks on nearby trails as well as on longer hikes. The Continental rubber tread provides great grip and also holds up extremely well over time. I've had a pair of the men's AX4s for 3 years now that I wear daily for our 1-2 mile dog walks and they've still got plenty of life left -- no delaminating, unraveling, or holes in the uppers. Highly recommend for those who have wider feet too, although they're still comfortable and supportive for those who have narrower feet like my wife.
I ordered them about a half size larger. They seem to fit with about a thumbs width between toe and front of shoe. My wife’s feet tend to be hard to fit.My mens shoes I ordered half size larger and my foot barely fit. Why can’t adidas seem to get their sizing to fit the standard. Always with adidas. I love the shoes but always have to get 1-3 sizes larger than any other brand. I would suggest if getting these find them in store to size then order online to font the best deals. Now I have to return them and get a larger size. Over all look and feel otherwise was amazing. I’m just bummed I’m now another week or so out to get the correct size.
