Very comfortable. I haven't had a mid rise shoe in many years. They add extra ankle support and keep my feet quite warm.

Tried this on and right out of the box they felt so comfortable. I was pleased when I noticed that the tongue is padded! I have bad ankles and I’m hoping these will help me out during summer hikes. The quality it seems awesome and the outsoles are grippy!

I ordered my regular size shoe and they fit.I don't wear these hiking. I wear them during the rainy season around town.Comfortable.Waterproof.Durable. These barely show any use with what I use them for.

Love these boots. I have smaller but wide feet. I have been trying to find a good pair of water proof hikings boots and tried several others before these ones. I have tried boots from Oboz, Vasque, La Sportiva and the fit was off for my feet. I have taken these hiking with me a few times. The waterproofing on them are legit. I slipped on a water crossing and my feet were completely dry. I love the grip on these boots. They dont feel as light or comfy as the La Sportiva boots, but they are still really good. I bought a second pair as a spare for myself and a pair for just about everyone in my family. We all love love love them.
I broke my foot awhile back and was recently given the all clear, just in time for a bunch of winter storms. I decided I would be happier with a goretex walking shoe but I need ankle support because my balance is still a little off from the break. I found these for a screaming deal and took a chance. These shoes are nice and wide in the toe box but hug my ankles and heels. They aren’t too tight either. I completely lucked out running across them. I had no idea what brand they even were bc I forgot to look when I was purchasing them. I am probably going to order another pair to keep on the back burner. I wear a size 8 in Brooks and Asics, so I ordered an 8 in these. My personal opinion is that they run a little big but I am glad about that because I can wear my nice ... MoreI broke my foot awhile back and was recently given the all clear, just in time for a bunch of winter storms. My personal opinion is that they run a little big but I am glad about that because I can wear my nice hiking socks so my feet don’t get cold. I live in an area with a lot of snowfall and cold temps and I’ve worn these on my hour long walks with no issues. They even accommodate my yak trax which is awesome because we just had a terrible ice storm and with my healing foot I’m paranoid to break it again so I can wear these awesome shoes with yak trax with no worries. I have recommended them to a bunch of people. I haven’t ever worn adidas shoes before so I’m surprised and pleased.
I was looking for a versatile hiking boot that I can wear for neighborhood dog walks or light hiking on the trails and hills. These definitely fit the bill. Grippy when needed, solid footing on uneven surfaces, cushion for days. I was surprised by the bouncy feeling of these boots and that feature has quickly made these my favorite walking/hiking boot. They feel like a cross between a running shoe and a hiking boot. Perfect for my needs. The high top portion is also comfortable, light support, I don’t think it should be relied on for great support. Just sort of hugs your ankle and will keep debris out of my shoe. I would recommend for walking and general hiking with a bounce in your step.
Was really excited for the style and functionality of these but they run large overall and are very narrow through the toe box. I walked around in them for a few minutes and they were rubbing my pinky toes, pushing them inward
These hiking boots really fit the description. Great support, gortex waterproof and the bonus is they look good! I’m looking forward to wearing them while hiking in the Swiss Alps.
Just received these, put them on immediately and they are COMFORTABLE!! I've been looking for a pair of comfy athletic type shoe for an upcoming overseas trip. I have to order online, I ordered 3 different brands of shoes from 3 different companies, and had to return ALL of them, toe boxes were very tight. Figured I'd try REI, saw these and thought I'd give them a try. There's plenty of room for my wide foot, easy to get into, I can hardly wait to try them outside. If anything goes wrong with them, I'll update my rating.
Very comfortable trainers for walking in. Ideal for all weathers. The only downside is being able to feel stones under your sole, but the bounce under the heel is great!Would recommend.
