My feet are incredibly average. If I order a 9.5, in any shoe style, it will generally fit and feel fine. Frankly, I'm not that picky, most shoes are great these days—like stock car stereos? At 50 years old, this is the first shoe I had to return because they would not hold my heel down. They look killer, and on paper they should have worked. I cannot explain it. I have had many pairs of Adidas over the years.

The foot bed was great - felt comfortable. But the cut for these low hikers is high - both shoes cut into the outside of both ankles - super painful! I knew as soon as I walked in them just across my bedroom floor that they wouldn't work. It's a shame since the size and fit were good.I ordered both 6.5 - my regular size - and 6.0. The 6.5 fit. I never tried on the 6.0 since I knew it would be too small. It's interesting how many folks say they run large. It wasn't the case for me.

I have had thee previous pairs of these hiking shoes. After finding I could no long acquire them through Amazon or the manufacturer, I ordered from TrekkInn. Two pair arrived in excellent condition so I am good for another few years.

Bought these because I had another pair of Terrex, which I loved and wore out. They fit great, were comfortable, etc. Thought I'd try these with the added bonus of GTX.Definitely not the same shoe. The fit was really snug, like uncomfortably, and the shoe is really stiff. I figured, well, okay. As I wear them, they'll break in, etc.But, then I started to walk around in them. On any hard surface (wood, tile, etc.) they were VERY squeaky. I was going to go grocery shopping in them, just to start breaking them in. But, no way! I was not going to loudly squeak through the store for an hour.I had to return them. They had such promise!

Shipping to Eastern US took about a week and a half and was a painless process. The shoes fit a bit small from what I've found so go half a size up. I use these for disc golfing so the waterproofing with Gore-tex and the Continental tread these are tanks. In hindsight I should've bought the over the ankle ones! This was the lowest price I've found, will purchase from here again.
Bought somewhat last minute for a trip to RMNP. They are so good! Sure footing on dirt, mud, and snow. GoreTex keeps all the water out. These feel solid. My feet are happy!
When I first opened the box I was super excited. Loved the look, great first impression. I typically wear between a 7.5 and 8. After reading reviews that they run large I decided to purchase the 7.5... The second I put my foot in them I immediately wished I had got a 7. I walked around my house for bit and every time my foot would bend, I would experience a very uncomfortable pain on the topside of my big toe from the shoe digging into it when it stepped. Unfortunately I don't think ordering the 7 will fix this issue so I will be sending them back and not reordering. Bummer because it's a sharp looking shoe.
I loved the look of these online and especially in person, they’re beautiful. Unfortunately, there are three major concerns I noticed immediately that continually got worse.1.) The shoe runs at least 1 full size large. I always wear a 10.5 in Addidas and they fit perfect, these felt like an 11.5.2.) Heel slippage, this was exasperated by the larger fit but My heel continually slipped up during my hike. I’ve seen this issue though on almost every review on Amazon.3.) A lack of padding on the top outline of the shoe. This causes absurd amount of debris to get into the shoe while in use and it not comfortable.Another smaller issue is the plastic feel of the shoe. I’m sure it lasts a long time but your foot may not.I don’t recommend these
I have been wearing the adidas terrrex swift R2 for a few years now. I have maybe gone through like 4 or 5 pairs of them. (I have really enjoyed them)I decided to purchase these R3s and I am returning them. I wasn't able to purchase the same size I was in the R2s and once I did find a good fit, they were still falling off in the heel area. I wore them ONE DAY and already had blisters.THANKFULLY backcountry will offer store credit to even worn items.These are being returned as soon as I print my return label.
