The adidas Ultra Boost 20 “Solar Red” is a December 2019 release from adidas and NASA’s ISS US National Lab collection. This special edition Ultra Boost was engineered for “zero-gravity performance,” and features bright hues for a bold look. With its Primeknit upper, this Ultra Boost provides a sock-like fit that's been modified by adidas’ “new tailored fiber placement technology. ” The woven base is dressed entirely in red tones while the heel clip and midfoot cage not only provide support, but iridescent violet accents. The Boost midsole presents more violet hues. The black continental rubber outsole ensures traction and a more subtle contrast to the rest of the shoe’s vibrant shades. Paying homage to NASA’s US National Lab, a triangular International Space Station badge is placed on the tongue.
