Releasing as part of a six-piece ‘Color Pack,’ the LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 ‘Black’ dresses the retro runner in a black mesh upper with tonal suede overlays. An overt nod to the Danish toy brand takes the form of LEGO tongue tag, while the sneaker’s TPU details, including the eyelets, lace jewel and ZX heel counter, physically resemble the textured surface of a LEGO brick. White and yellow three-stripes offer additional pops of contrasting color. The sneaker rides on a lightweight EVA midsole, supported underfoot by adidas’ signature Torsion bar and a high-traction rubber outsole.
