My 5 year old is obsessed with anything robotic, anything that makes sounds and noises, he's your typical boy! He was so excited to try this and it went above and beyond. The way this lights up and talks is so cool he can't stop playing with it, even my 1 year old is fascinated by it. My dog not so much, she attacks. And the cat runs. I want war plugs because the noises do eventually get annoying. But as long as the children love it and are happy and a toy gove hours of fun then I guess we suck it up and smile. This robot has faught army men, stuffed animals, legos, bugs and anything else that he could make the robot walk into or shoot. I definitely recommend this robot and for the price I believe it's a steal!

This was bought for my 4 year old and he loves it.It walks, the arms also move when it walks and he has a lot of sentences he says. The head moves and lights up and the chest lights up. The green crystal shoots out of his arm when you press the button on the arm.The quality is very good considering the price.

Because the lights and sounds worked when we bought it I thought it was permanently “on” but it didn’t walk so I thought it was broken. Especially after reading a review to that effect. However, it turns out there is an “on” switch on the back that makes it walk. Thought a review that mentioned that might be helpful..can’t comment on longevity as we have only just opened it.

I purchased this as a last minute Christmas present for my four year old....you know the last spin through the toy section? Thinking fill in toy....Anyway....WOW. What excellent "toy satisfaction" for under $15! He absolutely LOVES this toy.It's pretty loud and anoying for me...but he is happy as can be!
The Adventure Force Astrobot Walking Robot Toy with Lights & Sound is a wonderful toy robot.It is great quality toy. It lights up and makes lots of cool sound. My nephew absolutely enjoys this toy. It is such a joy to play with him and this toy. He doesn't want to go anywhere without this toy. I would definitely recommend this toy to others.
Bought for 5 year old boys birthday - he loves it. The walking function starts when you press the "on" button on the back of the robot - hard to find and not obvious! Loves the lights and the noise, and the blue "Lazer" that shoots from his arm has a button on. Good value for size and feel of the toy - Huge, noisey, moving robot - what more could a 5 year old want!!!
If you value your sanity at all, do not buy this toy. There is no on/off option or volume control and this thing is LOUD and OBNOXIOUS. This is one of those toys that when the batteries run out, my children will be told it’s “broken”, if I haven’t hidden it by then— I’m sure all my fellow parents out there know what I’m saying. On the contrary, if you have something against one of your friends with small children, this would make the perfect gift!

My kids love it already. It seems to be very very well made as they already walked him down the steps and it doesn’t have a scratch and still operates perfectly. It is definitely not cheaply made, the plastic that it is molded from is very thick and sturdy. It’s joints are good and tight and seems that the designers took extra time to make sure it all came together great. It lights up in several places and it has a few different sounds and sayings, also has a crystal blaster in one hand. You can’t go wrong with this guy it’s just plain fun! My son loves this toy. He is a huge Power Rangers fan and he uses this as a Megazord (or however you spell it haha). The lights and sounds all work on the product. I find the noises and sayings to be repetitive but maybe that’s because I hear it all the time. The toy looks pretty cool in general. I think it’s something he has enjoyed playing with and will continue to enjoy playing with as long as there continues to be good guys and bad guys haha. The toy is actually quite large but small enough to be handled by smaller children. Be sure to supervise smaller children around this product. All in all, very pleased with the product!
The quality is beyond amazing! I love the sound it makes! The green sword that comes with it is attachable to both hands of the robot. It also shoots! How fun! My 5yo loves it and when the robot walks is beyond happiness for my little one.
