Great attachment, cuts through some decent bush's when the multi tool is set on 2nd speed. Does stop if youre pushing too hard, but easy enough to start again and keep going. Very versatile and ergonomic with the multiple cutting angles

Bit pricy but worth every penny as I found it to be a great attachment for my 18v AEG whipper snipper! It's very easy to assemble and workout how to use, & this thing did not struggle one bit trimming ferns and twigs over 10mm in diameter. Only thing I found was that it got a bit heavy after a little while trimming 3 meter high edges as I had to hold it up high over head, but it gave me a good workout I so needed. You can get another ~1m attachment to make it even longer, I should have purchased this to be able to do the top of the 3m hedge.

This trimmer is extremely badly designed and 90% of the population would be unable to use it effectively.It has excessive weight in the cutting head which sits much too far away from the user, without an adequate handling mechanism.Only purchase if you are very large and strong, I'd say well over six foot in height. I enquired with Bunning and AEG and neither will offer an exchange if you are unable to use it.

I purchased this and the trimmer after returning an attachment and trimmer from another brand because the other one chewed rather than cut and struggled with anything around a pencil width or above.This attachment is great. I've been surprised by what diameter branch it happily cuts through and the cut is clean.It is heavy combined with the 58v trimmer. My only recommendation for improvement would be to have the tube as an extension that can to be removed from the head so the head can attach directly to the trimmer. Given the weight, it is unnecessarily awkward with the full length as is when trimming low.
Hard for me to review as the product was faulty. Was very happy with 58v line trimmer and the pole saw attachment. After a right run around at Bunnings ( not available for re-order and sent to another store which supposedly had stock, but didn’t) I gave up and got a refund. I’m now somewhat concerned that parts and replacement fittings may also not be available when I need them. I’ll replace the pole hedge trimmer with a cheap brand in due course. Disappointed.
Hey this AEG hedge trimmer attachment works very well. although, on the heavy side as it is quite large and much heavier than my father's Ryobi 18 volt hedge trimmer. But this thing is also much more powerfulI bought this instead of the Ryobi 36 volt hedge trimmer as it had bad reviews. using it with my Ryobi expand it brushless 36 volt .would recommend remember spray with oil before and after use to keep longevity.
I struggled for several years with a corded hedger from another brand. After I received the attachment I completed all of the hedges in half the time it took with the previous hedger. I found the hedger a slightly heavy and it would be good if AEG could reduce the weight slightly. Otherwise it is excellent
Used this with my 18v system and cannot fault it. Worked perfectly on my massive unruly hedge, the adjustment for the angle is very easy to use and the mechanism feels very sturdy and solid. Your arms can get tired with that amount of weight on the end of a 2m pole whilst working overhead but i see the weight as a sign of sturdyness and reliability so i cant complain.
Have been waiting for a quality hedge trimmer attachment to suit my AEG line trimmer. The other branded ones which were compatible were lacking in quality and cut capacity forcing me to use my Stihl petrol unit with its Kombi attachments. Have tried this new AEG hedge trimmer attachment on a fair few jobs over a couple of weeks now and so far seems to work really well. Its is well built and seems similar in design to the Stihl kombi attachment. Cut capacity is good too. Now I can trim hedges without earmuffs and fumes. Thank God.
I have quite large bushes and the reach on this is fantastic! Does get very heavy to use, but it’s clearly quality built so you’d expect some weight, if your not relatively strong, you may struggle. Blades are great and cut quite large branches. Does not chew batteries, in fact I did 3 large trees and battery was still indicating fully charged! Does a nice neat job. Very happy.
