New brushless multi-tool is a really handy piece of kit. The blades are very easy to put on and take off and the tool is easy to use and has plenty of power. Used it tiocut some metal and it worked really well. Took some timber trim containing nails off around a tight fireplace and it worked beautifully.
I've had the unit for a few years now and have been very impressed. So impressed that I bought all of the other attachments as well like the jig saw and right angle drill.Excellent product.
Plenty of power and cuts through timber and plaster with ease.
I bought the original multi tool and it had the interchangeable heads which was great, and I loved it, and then it started over heating and shutting down during operation, I got it replaced under warranty and they gave me the model, which wasn't even brushless, and you couldn't replace the heads, very disappointing
I had another power cable multi tool before, this is so much easier to use cordless!
I've just bought the latest model of the AEG multitool. I am hoping that the design changes include some upgrading of the gearbox, as this was a weak point of the earlier model. I have had to have 2 repairs in 2 years. This is a tool that I use frequently, so it needs to be robust.
