Framed up a whole house without having to reinflate. Drives nails all the way home into pine. Hardwood cladding too.

Purchased to erect fence around block, tank full of air has not run out yet, several days work, has never failed. AEG has provided 2 batteries a plus, plus. No need to worry about running out of gas cartridge's, or them going out of date, (for home handyman a big plus). Having an engineering background I believe a professional builder would be more than happy with this product. Took advantage of inflator by redemption, best inflator I have ever seen, not just to charge up nail gun, but can be used for car tyres, bikes and balls, can be set to shut off at pre-determined pressure. AEG has really nailed this one.

I am impressed with the performance of this framing gun. The only issue I have is that it won't fire the last few nails in the holder so it will only accept one strip at a time which is frustrating.

Bought a month ago to build weatherboard shed, in preparation for me doing full house Reno’s. Fantastic to use, doesn’t drain battery power, as one 18v 4AH lasted the day easily.
I'm one happy retired tradie doing home renovations. I've given this framing nailer a good workout the past couple of weeks and have plenty more use for it. So far no problems at all, I love and enjoy using it at every opportunity! This has plenty of power, easy to use, drives all sized nails I've used effortlessly with no problems and is a solid bit of kit.
Easy to use and fast nailing only downer id probably the weight its heavy to do long jobs with
I was tossing up between getting this nailer and another brand. Having borrowed and used the otherr brand I am glad I got the AEG one. Lighter and easier to use. no dry fires and wont fire when down to a few nails left in the clip. Like the fact that I can recharge the air cylinder myself.
Very happy with this nail gun. It compares well with my brothers Hikoki gun. In fact it has a couple of things that I like better... The Hikoki has a little button that you have to press when you start off but the AEG has a grip switch so you just "grab and go"They are pretty much equal in power for smacking the nail in.And about the same weight.Bigger nail capacity on the AEGThe only thing slightly negative is that there is no bump fire on the NZ models...as the Rapidfire name suggests.Cheaper nails without having to pay for the gas.I recommend this product.
It is fun to have a real nail gun that doesn’t mess around. I needed the portability of battery operated with no hoses. Very happy with this beast.
Have owned for 2 months now and so far I’m happy with its performance.Plenty of grunt, sinks nails easily in soft and hardwoods. The bump fire is sufficient to keep up when you’re pushing to get the job done. Have tried 6.0 & 5.0 batteries and found the 4.0AH battery is enough to get through the day so saves a little weight.Happy with capacity of standard nail magazine, I’ve a habit of counting nails so always prepped to throw another clip in on the go. Grip switch is great and no waiting for ramp up like my gas guns.Downside, compared to my gas guns it’s quite weighty so working overhead or at a distance from the body does take a toll if you have to do it for extended periods.Still sceptical about the long term price of owning this due to services, as it says ...
