I bought this bag for a trip to Europe as a personal item and day bag. It worked well on a domestic test trip. It is lightweight but structured and can stand up on its own, with a nice level of organizing pockets. My small laptop ipad fit nicely in the back pocket. Straps, zippers, and trolley strap work well. As a 65-year-old woman I am not your target customer, but I like the minimalist / functional design and light weight.

Great international travel pack!! I spent a month in France and this bag was with me every step of the way—in Paris, in Nimes, in the Ardeche. It carried everything I needed and the big pouch on the outside was fantastic. Also, a big plus for me, this bag maximizes the dimensions for a personal item for international travel. I had room for both my 15" MacBook Pro and my wife's 13" MacBook Pro. It was heavy, but all so easy to carry. Best backpack for international travel in my opinion.

Excellent quality of materials and build. Just enough padding on the back panel to stop items from sticking into my back without adding weight or bulk. Shoulder straps come down further than all my other bags, so the straps don't cut into the side of my chest. The only thing this is missing is a sternum strap, but would it really be as good looking with one? of course not! Still sits in a perfectly acceptable position on my shoulders even without it.

I've been using the Go Pack 2 as my go-to work backpack and as a personal backpack for travel. I must say, its the perfect size and weight for what I need. The backpack is compact enough for basic items but when I need to carry more items such as a pair of clothes or additional work gear, it does the job. At first, I wasn't sure about the front pocket as its not enclosed, but I like it to store a light jacket or non-valuable items for quick easy access. I would like to see enhancement on this bag in the near future where the front pocket is enclosed. Another area of improvement is the water bottle pockets that overlap with the main compartment zippers, sort of an odd placement with those zippers and how deep they're place on the left side of the bag.
I really like this backpack as it can serve for many uses! There are a few sacrifices for some but at the same time is a pro. The fact that this backpack is meant for travel and has a collapsible structure, that may not work for many depending on their needs. For me I find it a big plus because the bag is so light! I currently now use it as a work day pack and it works out so well. Can’t wait to take this traveling as well. It’s very well done being a minimalist backpack with just enough organization for all your needs. I’d recommend this to anyone.
First of all what a great company. So great that it causes an issue b/c it's hard to know what bags to keep as there are so many great ones. There's a ton to love with the Go Pack 2, starting with the AMAZING fabric (light and crinkly-cool, but without the sounds/stiffness of x-pack), super light weight, packability & luggage passthrough. My issues were that although capacity of front pocket is great, it should have some way to zipper down/secure contents. It's great to hold a single large item like rain jacket, But what if I happen to have multiple small items? Second issue for me is lack of aquaguard for main compartment. Aer is playing at the highest level, and at this level, any compartment into which a laptop may go should have aquaguard. These Macbooks cost ... MoreFirst of all what a great company. Aer is playing at the highest level, and at this level, any compartment into which a laptop may go should have aquaguard. These Macbooks cost too much for there to be any other choice. Finally, on a related note, I think the laptop sleeve could be better. I realize tradeoffs have to be made to keep it light & packable, & the false bottom is there, but I still feel there should be a bit more padding on back if I'm going to feel OK putting my $2,900 machine in there. Again though, really great bag and it's hard to decide whether to keep it, In fact, although I requested return, I'm having a hard time letting go of it (and I probably will miss it)! But if I do return it, the above is why. E
Absolutely blown away by the quality of this bag. Premium materials and packable (for most) at a $99 price point is just absurd value. I originally purchased to have a packable laptop bag for business trips that would easily fit in my suitcase or Travel Pack 2 but after testing it out on my normal daily commute, I haven’t been able to put it away. The pockets are deep and the quick access holds so much stuff. The only downside of this bag is the lack of padding in the laptop compartment but that is a very small sacrifice for an otherwise outstanding pack.
I am a very picky bag person. I watched so many video comparisons reviews. I liked everything about this bag. I am using is for my under the seat extra carry on bag. It is super lightweight, easy to get on, off and slips over my suitcase. I like the luggage sleeve positions the bag up and not its side. I like the extra front open pocket. It makes it easy to have my iPad out for TSA. The small top outside pocket is useful for travel documents while going through TSA. The two water bottle pockets are expandable which work for larger bottles. The only thing I will be adding are a couple of small rings to attach my keys and tram pass.
Bought this to use as my personal item for an international flight. It's just the right size to fit everything I needed (hoodie, noise cancelling headphones, tablet, snacks and a water bottle), and also compact enough to slide right under the seat in front. The straps are super comfy and padded, and lets the bag to sit well on the back. It is good enough to use as EDC, which is what I do now. I did have my reservations about the slightly textured surface of the fabric. I have a feeling stuff like sunscreen might get embedded in it during the summer months, but I assume some warm, soapy water should be able to clean it up. All-in-all, I'm very happy with the Go Pack 2 and am considering a second one in another colour.
After two years of using this backpack, I still love it. It's convenient. I can bring this backpack anywhere without hassle: airplanes, cars, buses, etc. It's stylish. You will not believe how many compliments this backpack has received. It's useful. The compartments are top-notch, and almost everything I put in it has its spot. It's durable. Throughout those two years, I can't see a difference from when I first bought it. Overall, it's an innovative and practical backpack that is worth it.
