The Aerpro CBB3F1L 6dBi 477MHz Black Elevated Feed UHF Antenna is compatible with all brands of 477MHz UHF CB Radios in Australia and New Zealand. With 6dBi gain, this medium gain 945mm tall antenna is a great all round performing antenna. The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna, making it ideal for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands. The antenna features a black solid fibreglass whip mounted to a black elevated feed base which is fitted with a black stainless steel spring. Fitted it to the ute to replace the old one that broke after 2 years, week and a half later top half breaks off while driving down the highway!
This is a flimsy product, the antenna snapped off (just above where it screws onto the spring) whilst I was driving. The product had only been on my car for not even two months and now I am left with just the base. Very disappointed.
Great UHF aerial suits all uhfs to the PL259 or even use an adaptor for BNC and this antenna can be used for Commercial graded uhfs
I work away a lot, travelling up and down the highway in my Ute. I installed this about a month ago and love it. It holds up great with highway travel and the reception is clear with decent distance.
The aerial was purchased to repalce a faulty Uniden aerial and is working well. We have range that appears to be greater then we had prebiously
not bad, but seems flimsy, the tip cover came off and it is a hollow tube to fill up
Bought this to replace ancient model and it works just fine.The sales staff were knowledgeable and friendly as usual.
