A lovely clean rose scent perfectly balanced with a touch of spice from the pepper. I love the fact that this is not a powdery, heavy rose scent. Product lathers up really well leaving a gentle reminder on your skin, perfect for layering other products on top of. One of my favourite body cleansers now.

This is a favourite of mine and I have been using it for many years. The fragrance is subtle and the pepper softens the floral tones. It lathers beautifully and lasts for ages so it is good value for money as the quality is far superior to other, cheaper body cleansers. I have tried others in the Aesop range but this is still my go to. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I bought this specifically to take to use at the gym because of the handy pump dispenser, but love it so much that I now use it at home as well! The smell is to die for, it's floral, but fresh, not overpowering, it definitely gives the impression of a luxury product. I genuinely prefer this range to anything by Molton Brown, and as Aesop is comparatively lesser known, you get the benefit of feeling like you're using a far more exclusive product! This is worlds away from even the best supermarket or pharmacy body wash, I can't bring myself to use anything else now!

This in my opinion is one of the most sophisticated rose smells in a shower gel I have smelled lately. Unfortunately, it is not a lasting one. It does go away even before you are out of the shower. It does leave the body feeling clean and fresh though, just doesn't leave a good scent afterwards. You would expect a bit more in terms of longevity of scent from a shower gel from this price range and this brand. But it's okay. It's not a bad product after all, just doesn't meet my full expectations.
My favorite Aesop body cleanser scent because it’s just so luxurious smelling. I have tried a few and they never fail but this one is my favourite scent. I also like the citrus scents for the summer but this one I think is a great fall winter scent. Definitely a treat purchase but worth it for me and every guest who has used this has been equally impressed
A really lovely body wash. Feels luxurious and fills my bathroom with its gorgeous fragrance. I was worried the rose might be too overpowering, but the black pepper and cardamom balance it out perfectly. While the scent doesn’t remain on your skin, it does make your bathroom smell like a spa, a little bit of luxury with every shower.
This was a random sales purchase when I was running low on shower gel. I wasn't sure as much as I like rose had strong rose - but this was was shocking- as is a lovely floral but has a depth to it - might be the black pepper. A little also goes a long way and it soaps up really nicely. Will definitely buy again - maybe in sale as isn't cheap but worth it.

My daughter was in the next room and could smell it as it hit the steam in the shower. It had made the whole house smell gorgeous. It lathers well, the suds feel silky but not at all drying. Skin felt positively soft and hydrated afterward. I would say that the smell does not linger massively on the skin but if you’re going to apply a moisturiser anyway it’s not that big of a deal as actually the product is fab. Great pump too so no faffing about with tops. Be great if bottle could be refilled with the same product rather than wasting the plastic. My first Aesop purchase- which yes is odd for someone who has tried everything out there for 30 years. Yes, it’s expensive for a shower product but I can see why it’s so popular. A gorgeous texture not runny but also doesn’t require a total arm workout to get out the pump! Lovely scent, very natural no take or perfumes and stays in the bathroom well after the shower. I will definitely be trying more from Aesop!
