I’ve gifted this a couple of times now to friends after trying it and loving a few years ago. It is soft and hydrating to use and gives a lovely sheer glossy look. It skins in well and has a lovely smell. Reports from friends have been positive too. It would be great if more Aesop was found in store.

Even though I love Aesop and all their products, I was very disappointed with this lip balm. It is not hydrating and does not last. I have to reapply constantly to keep my lips hydrated. The product does not last so it is not wortth the money in my opinion. It has a wonderful smell though and it is very pleasing, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Very disappointed with this, you’re much better spending your money elsewhere for lip care. Very drying, and felt the need to reapply within 10 minutes of applying it. The smell is quite nice, but I don’t really notice it any longer. I think lip balms need a nice taste and this tastes of chemicals.Aesop has some excellent products, but this isn’t one of them. Lip Oil or even Carmex does the job better than this for a third of the price.

I have quite dry and often chapped lips and this lip balm is great for day-to-day use. The texture is lovely and the scent isn't too overpowering. I also really like the packaging and applicator - great to keep in your handbag. On the whole a great lip balm for general use!
Purchased this the other day with some other Aesop products. First time trying the lip salve balm and I really liked it. When you squeeze the tube quite a bit of product comes out which is the only drawback as it can get a bit messy and sticky on the application end. Lovely smell and great to keep in my bag for on the go use.
I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed with the Lip Salve. I thought I was upgrading to a much better salve.The product didn't last long on my lips.,and that was a surprise. It felt good when first applied but my lips weren't moisturised for even an hour.
As lip balms go this is ok, it's not my first choice but it's not terrible either. I prefer a lip balm that adds moisture to achieve plumpness - this lip balm feels nourishing but needs to be re-applied throughout the day more than others I have used. I quite like the citrus ingredients so I will continue to use this but alongside other lip balms.
I got this last Xmas as I was going through a cold and my lips were cracked and the shop assistant recommended it to me. It’s ok. The lips feel ok after using it , hydrated and moistured. However , the smell is too strong as you use it and I don’t like the smell much. Also it feels a bit sticky if you want to use the fingers. Not sure I’d buy it again
Sometimes I struggle to get the product out of the packaging. It’s a lovely product although slightly more for show and I’m afraid I can’t rave about the moisturising properties of this. That being said, it’s wonderfully indulgent and smells delightful
I bought this for my son who plays professional football. He trains outside every day in all weathers. He was always complaining how dry and chapped his lips were. I have bought him numerous lip balms with very little effect. It was a bit of a gamble really and didn’t hold out much hope. He absolutely loves this balm and I now have it on repeat order practically every month. Let’s hope that they do not discontinue this product
