The fragrance of this hand cream is woody and herby with a hint if patchouli. It is a nice smell, but its nothing special.The purple, metal packaging is stunning. The formula of the hand cream is light but richer than most light-weight hand creams. It absorbs well. It is a nice formulation, but its not rich enough for me.

The packaging for this product is great, just like all the other Aesop products. The hand cream is thick and soaks in well, and a little goes a long way. It smells nice, but has a slight undertone that I am still making my mind up on. Friends have said they love the scent though. Overall nice and would make a nice gift too.

Prolongs the life of sprayed perfumes and hydrates nicely in the mornings before heading out the door. As usual for Aesop’s balms, don’t be too preoccupied with the differences between the “hand” and “body” ones. Choose the scent that resonates best with your preferences. Definite repurchase, along with the Rejuvenate, Resolute, and Resurrection balms.

My girlfriend swears by this hand cream and gets a tube for Christmas and a tube for her birthday every year. You only need very, very little of the product, which helps wonderfully against dry and cracked hands and has a very pleasant, very natural fragrance. The ingredients are great, even if it takes a little time for even a small amount to be absorbed into the skin. I expect this tube to last me a year, so it's great value for money and I really like sustainable, largely natural products anyway.
I've been using Aesop's Resurrection Hand Balm for years, and I was curious to try the new Eleos version. As all Aesop's hand balms, it manages to hydrate and nourish hands while being lightweight and non-greasy (essential, if you ask me). The fragrance of Eleos is lovely, with botanical notes which I really loved but also spice notes which I am not a fan of. However after a few minutes of it massaged on my hands, the spice became less prominent. I think it's a good one to swap with Resurrection for a change every now and then!
Absolutely love this Aesop hand cream. The smell is nice, and while I don’t love it as much as their Resurrection hand cream, I do like it. Deeply moisturising without being greasy and a little goes a long way so the (very stylish) tube will last ages. The packaging is so nice, always feels luxurious to have in your home and makes a beautiful gift too. Highly recommend!

I am a big fan of Aesop products and have been using the original hand balm for years. I was very excited to see this new edition. firstly, I love the new purple package! However, I found the balm not as moisturising as the original version. It is very light, I would only it daytime during the warmer months.
