- Smells wonderful! - Medium texture/consistency and doesn’t leave an oily or greasy feeling — my hands are soft, smooth and moisturized. - A little really goes a long way and you don’t have to reapply often. I’ve used this product a lot during the winter and have found that my skin did not crack or dry out (and am so thankful for!) Would highly recommend 🙂 #aesop

All things you want without being annoying

For awhile, I had switched to Weleda Skin Food. And I'm not sure why I put up with it for so long. It was everyone's OG but I hated the herbal smell that stunk all day. I hated the thickness that never seemed to absorb until you "washed" your hands. This is where Aesop's Geranium body balm does everything right. It is super hydrating and absorbs into your skin. When I rub my hands together, I don't feel grease. I just feel soft, smoothness. The smell is lovely but isn't going to stay on you all day. To me, that's perfect. I like a good smell as I'm applying. But I want to smell my perfume not my lotion throughout the day.

Deeply moisturising

This is such a heavenly moisturiser that I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm fast becoming a big fan of Aesop. First of all I loved the chic packaging which looks classy in any bathroom. Secondly - it is a gorgeous body moisturiser. Its particularly good for specific dry areas such as elbows, knees and feet. My feet were terribly dry before I started using this - now they are much softer, and I owe it to the Aesop Geranium leaf body balm. Goes without saying that it smells delicious too.

Delicious

As ever, with Aesop, an incredibly deep and green herbal scent. Quite unexpected and very much shying away from the more common sickly sweet offerings from other brands. This is a rich body cream, however is still able to absorb quickly. Feels very luxurious and the packaging makes it a joy to behold on the bedside table.

Deliciously Herbal

This Geranium Leaf range from Aesop truly evokes the feeling of being in a summer garden and crushing a fresh leaf of a lemon geranium between your fingers - its incredibly refreshing and herbal. It's a great way to start the day and the beautifully designed packaging is always a joy. It takes a little work to work it in to skin but the smell makes it feel like this massage is a part of the pleasant experience.

Great Moisturizer.

I’ve bought this product several times. Love it; such a soft and absorbent moisturiser. The Geranium Leaf smell is my favourite, though all Aesop moisturisers are great.

Lovely scent. No stickiness

Lovely scent. Absorbs quickly without any stickiness. I use it for my 2, 5, 7 year old children too. My 5yo has sensitive skin but this is fine for her.

Luxurious Body Balm

I received this body balm as a gift and it is such a luxurious treat to use. The consistency of the balm is thick and moisturising, so a little goes a long way. On my combination skin, it takes a little while to sink in and so I don't tend to use it when I'm in a rush. However, when it does sink in, it doesn't feel at all greasy, which I love. The packaging is beautiful and the pump dispenser is great - it hasn't clogged up at all. The scent complements the Geranium Leaf body wash really well. To me, the two scents are subtly different, though - the balm smells slightly muskier and less 'bright' than the body wash, so I would recommend trying this before purchasing, even if you like the body wash.

Not worth the €€€

Nice enough like others have said but my main gripe is that it takes a lot of rubbing in to get the white cream melted deep into the skin b4 u can get dressed. So a bit messy as it doesn’t absorb well/quickly. Not hugely hydrating either and the nice smell doesn’t linger. although admittedly it calms my occasionally problematic dry skin on the legs for example. Not lubricating enough for décolletage imo. Kiel’s orange blossom moisturiser was a nicely scented and cheaper option but is discontinued , Laura merrier soufflé creams also offer better value in texture, even if these products don’t offer the same fashionably androgynous packaging and aesthetic design that comes with Aesop- you are paying for branding here really.

Nourishment for the skin

Absolutely love this body moisturiser! It feels rich and nourishing and absorbs nicely into the skin after a few moments. It smells light and fresh and I feel like I’m giving myself a real treat using this. It’s particularly good for elbows and knees! Feels a bit like a spa treatment.
