Best serum I have ever used (Combination skin)

Being a consumer on LF for more than 3 years now now this is my first time ever writing a review, cuz this product is just too amazing! I have tried so many different brands of serum (yeah those expensive af ones) but they're either sticky and oily, or too lightweight to keep my face moisturised. This dilemma can be extra tricky for those with combination skins - we don't want the T zones to be oily and makeup ruining, in the meanwhile, we definitely don't want dehydrated cheeks. Somehow this product takes care of both! it's amazing to use as night serum, or a base for makeup during the day. Also it is not that expensive if you consider the size of it.. I guess for a bottle like this, I could use it for over 6 months.

Fabulous product

I have oily skin and this product is great. Keeps me hydrated without the extra oil. I haven’t had any extra breakouts at all which is quite rare when I try a new product. Leaves your skin feeling lovely! Highly recommend!

Fantastic hydrator

I couldn't miss out this product. A nice lightweight hydrator for those who want to avoid using cream hydrators. A perfection solution for summer days, but also works best for morning and evenings. Must have!

Ideal for oily skin

I have combination skin that is prone to sensitivity. I have an oily t-zone that is prone to breakouts and feels uneven to touch. My cheeks have a tendency to be dry and dehydrated. I bought this serum as it was oil free And hydrating. Initially, I started placing it all over my face. My cheeks soon became very sensitive and red from using it. I found it was stripping the natural oils from my face causing my cheeks to become very sensitive and dry. I therefore stopped using it on my whole face and now only use it on my oily t-zone. It has worked wonders on my t-Zone. My forehead has never been so clear and smooth and my make up glides on smoothly for the first time ever. I would definitely recommend it if you have oily skin. Ineffective

The ingredients in this are great and it smells so luxurious, but the texture and application and absorption sensation feels very strange, and it ended up stinging quite a bit on my sensitive and acne prone skin. This product seemed really promising but it won't be a repurchase for me.

Light serum for oily or combination skin

I am on my second bottle of this very light serum. When I bought it for the first time I did not like that it seems to be oil serum, as I am not fan of oils, but once you apply it it absorbs quickly and does not leave any oily residue or feeling on the skin. This is a serum but sometimes, when my skin is a bit oilier or during heat waves in Summer I use it as a moisturizer together with another lightweight serum to add that bit of hydration without too much product on my face. It smells lovely (not like fragance) and feels even better. Does not offer miracles, just a soft, light bit of hydration that soothes the skin. I really like it and my flatmate has bought herself one as her skin gets too oily in Summer

Light weight serum

I love aesop products so I tried this serum. First the good, it is fast absorbing and light weight so if you want a light serum to use under your moisturiser then this serum would do that. However, I use a serum because my skin is so dry from the cold weather plus post pregnant and breast feeding. It doesn't hydrate my skin as much as I want it to, it dries quickly and almost becomes sticky on my face. It also starts to pull so if I'm using this product I always use moisturiser plus a facial oil afterwards. It's not my favourite serum but it's an alright product to use daily if you have normal skin with no other concerns. I personally don't like the smell, it has like a licorice note to it which I'm not a huge fan of.

Love this product - it has changed my skin!

Perfect lightweight serum

I started using the product a while ago, the smell was unusual at first but now I love it. My partner hates cream of any kind on his skin but has bad psoriasis around his nose and cheeks. This is the perfect lightweight product for him and has cleared his skin up very quickly. Highly recommend.
