Aesop Lucent Facial Concentrate - 60ml

Came into some cash on my birthday and decided to treat myself while visiting some girlfriends. This retails for $115, and while that might seem very steep, it’s lasted me six months and I still have 1/3 of the bottle left. This serum contains rose petal, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (a stable form of vitamin C, and Niacinamide. It feels so lovely going on, and layers beautifully with my moisturizer. My skin has looked great lately, and I’m pretty sure this serum is the reason why. I break out way less frequently and my skin is much more balanced. If you have the ability to splurge, I’d definitely recommend this product. *Adorable kitty not included.

I really love this formula and have repurchased twice. I use it daily and I absolutely love to pat it on after a long day when my skin needs some extra tlc. The scent is herbaceous and floral and deep. I like the aromatherapy benefits because it smells soothing and grounding to me. It makes my skin look so beautiful and radiant without looking greasy. I wear it to bed and in the morning my complexion is flawless

Favourite serum

I love this vitamin serum. I use morning and night with other ‘ingredient’ serums (retinol, hyaluronic etc). I have dry skin but prone to hormonal breakouts. This stops the breakouts and is a vitamin boost for my dry skin. Lasts a long time (I buy 2 per year) and really can’t live without it

Favourite!

Tried many serums and always come back to this one. Generally have dry skin which can cause breakouts if not moisturised well and this seems to help with all these problems. Notice my skin feels brighter too. Love how it goes on.

Love it!

A great alternative to normal, smelly vitamin C serums. Usually applied to conditioned skin in the morning, then paused for absorption. Leaves skin plumped and radiant. Long-term benefits have not been confirmed, but overall an excellent product.

Lucent Facial Concentrate Serum - It Works!

This product is awesome as part of an evening cleansing routine to add some much needed moisture to your face, especially in big cities where pollution and grime can impact your skin. It works in both overly dry and humid environments.

Not for me

I was looking for a light serum for daytime use so decided to give this a try. It is very light, applies well and absolves into the skin very quickly. However, it just doesnot provide sufficient hydration that my skin needs. This might be more suitable for people with oily/combination skin type.

Sooo good my skin glows

I really love this product. My skin type is mixed oil. It hydrates my skin leaving with a completely nonsticky finishes. I love to use that day and night and for me in summer using it only without any moisturizer afterwards could be enough and make my skin remains hydrated. After using it there's no feel like too oily even putting other following steps including putting makeup on afterwards. Highly recommend that

Suitable for most skins!

Suitable for most skins! This is a water-like essence that not only provides strong moisturizing, but also has a creamy effect. At the same time, it can add vitamins, moisture and nourishing plant ingredients to the skin. Adding nourishing rose, sandalwood and frankincense essential oils and sodium carrageenan, it smells rich but very comfortable, which can relax the mind.

it works

This serum works really well on my skin, as do most Aesop products. As for the smell, this one did nothing for me - not exactly unpleasant, but faint and a bit more chemical(?) than usual. Very expensive, but effective in balancing the skin and I only need three drops daily, so 60ml does last ages. I use it in combination with an Aesop moisturiser, and vary that depending on how dry my skin is that day.
