Yes, it is very expensive for a mouthwash, and yes the cheap brands that you can buy everywhere also do the job. I first purchased this because I am a big fan of Aesop and just wanted to see if it was worthwhile. I have to say I do rather love it and purchased it recently on offer. I find the taste refreshing and not over the top like some of the cheaper brands. It does, of course, look wonderful in the bathroom too. Would I buy it if I got through large quantities? I’m not sure I could justify it!

Ugh mask breath is the worse. But this mouthwash is so nice. The mint is on the subtler side, which I totally appreciate. I love that I don't feel like I'm gargling chemicals and alcohol. There's no terrible sting like Listerine. The bottle is gorgeous and one of the few Aesop products that come in glass.

Really refreshing mouth wash. Comes well packaged. Huge quality behind this. Very generous bottle. It looks like it will last a while. Strong quality. Fresh breath all day long. I have Onions in the morning and this does a very good of masking that smell.

Have been a fan of the Aesop brand for years - love the quality of the products and how they look. The mouthwash is no exception. It has a mild taste with an aniseed aftertaste which is great compared to other mouthwashes on the market that can feel harsh and too strong. The only downside for me is the fact the mouthwash size is fairly bulky/heavy. In the past I've had smaller versions in gift sets which were perfect. Lasts ages. Expensive but worth it.
This mouthwash is made with great ingredients and is also alcohol free. A staple in my dental hygiene routine now. The minty taste is not too overpowering and leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh for hours. It is more expensive that other mouthwash ranges but it’s definitely worth the money.
I really like this mouthwash and it has become a repeat purchase. I notice that it is often out of stock, so its good to keep one in reserve. The taste is really unique; mostly like clove and aniseed. so, if you find regular. mouthwashes overpowering or that they contain too many chemicals, this is an ideal option.
This mouthwash, like all Aesop products, is really lovely and resfreshes your breath. The bottle is very large so I consider it good value for money. As an added bonus, the bottle makes a beautiful addition to any vanity. I love to pair this with the Aesop toothpaste
When I first saw the price on this mouthwash, I thought it was a little high. I went ahead and bought it because of the reviews and am glad I did! The taste is fresh, it leaves my mouth feeling refreshed, and even does a good job of removing plaque! Definitely worth the higher price tag.
If you had said you paid this much for a mouthwash I would probably think you were mad but now having purchased ( I have to admit for its appearance initially ) I am totally hooked and wouldn’t be without it. Yes it does look stunning on the self in the bathroom but the mouthwash is just great - very mild subtle spearmint and aniseed flavour that lasts and keeps your whole mouth fresh. A definite long time repurchase product !
I bought the aesop mouthwash. The smell is very good. The only problem may be it's a glass bottle. Thus, it's a little heavier to take. Though while i bought it in the store many years before comes with a small glass cup. But while I but it on line, it's not coming with the cup. What a pity!
