I have sensitive skin so I am extra careful with cleansing masks. The scent was definitely not my favourite. I have to give a point for the packaging. Even though mine was a sample, it was still beautiful. Unfortunately, it was painful When I put it on, so I immediately washed it off.

I love Aesop but this mask is a no from me. I am their loyal customer for years now and have received a handful of samples of this product, am not really impressed and wouldn’t purchase the full size. It even caused me to breakout. But knowing how good the brand is in general, I will give it a 3/5 and I hope this product will work for someone else.

Following the demise of Lancôme lip cream I have tried for years to find another. Any I have found have been for the lip contour, which I didn't want. I wanted a hydrating cream. I hate lip balms, the overuse of which makes my lips sore. I came across this one and whilst not as good as the Lancôme is a decent substitute and also much cheaper. It has a pleasant lavender scent/taste. It's in a metal tube, like a mini toothpaste. Makes my lips smooth and not sticky. Have bought two spare tubes in case they discontinue it but I estimate the current tube will last several months.

I bought this mask as a gift for my dad (in his fifties, no interest in skincare whatsoever) and he has told me on several occasions that he really loves it. He said he feels pampered and luxurious when he uses it. Although I haven't tried the product myself, he raves about it so I would have to recommend.
This is a great product for leaving your skin feeling smooth and drawing out excess oils from pores. I use once a week, applying a thin layer after cleansing my face. There’s a slight tingle at first, which calms as the masque dries. After 15 minutes, the clay has turned from a light brown, wet consistency, to dried white - and you can see the oil drawn out of your pores.
It started off well the product went on smoothly and kept my lips hydrated. The scent of it wasn't over powering.However i soon noticed a hole in it, and was surprised it was made like a glue sick considering the price for £13 i kind of expected it to be like other balms i have used (which are cheaper) where its completely solid all the way through so that was a bit disappointing.Then yesterday the balm crumbled on me and small bits went in my mouth which wasn't so nice. I was probably just unlucky but for a £13 lip balm i don't expect it to crumble so its a one star from me.
This is THE best clay mask, it doesn't quench your skin of all moisture as some clay masks can. It helps combat any existing blemishes as well as give your face a deep cleanse. I use it once a week, it keeps my complexion looking calm and smooth. I'll be using this forever.
Aesop makes some of the best products for regular use. This mask is a classic Aesop product. It is expensive but only a small amount is required to get a good coverage. The mask is soothing and leaves the face looking refreshed.
This is such a beautiful and unique scent. If you like Aesop, their stores and other scents, I'm sure you'll like and appreciate this one too. It's spicy, floral and grassy all at once! Wears beautifully throughout the day and feels a real treat to spray in the morning.
