I was diligent in spending time researching the type of axe I wanted to purchase. I found it at Axeman.ca and they made it happen. I will be ordering again from Axman.caThis axe is a quality product and true to the description as advertised.I gave the edge some attention just to polish it up a bit and a final few passes on a strop.... hair shaving sharpness.Thank you for providing a quality product. I purchased this axe and it was delivered quite quickly. I have to say I am very happy with the service from Jeremy and Axeman.ca. Once it arrived it was sharp, just not as sharp as I personally like, so I spent a wee bit of time and brought the edge to a sharpness that I prefer and now it slices tomatoes with ease. I would highly recommend Axeman and the carpenter's axe. If you want one that is already tuned up then think about the Premium version, its already taken to the next level, but if your like me and want to do it yourself, go for it. Even though Jeremy suggested a sheath, I prefer to make my own.Thanks, Jeremy, you have a future customer secured. :)

Very nice axe, relying on Hutafors good name and years of quality production. Shouldn't be a problem. It is a little shorter than I was expecting. The shipping was lighting fast. I made the order and within a few hours I had confirmation that it was ready for the post, and the next day it was picked up by the post office.
Super quick delivery to Ontario of my new favourite axe. Beyond just looking great, it feels great to work with. It is a perfect weight for its size and the straight handle makes it easy for one or two handed use.
