This is my first helmet. I fell in love with the styling then then airflow. I wanted a white helmet and there's not many available at a budget. I got this for ~240 USD after tax. That's probably more than I would have been willing to pay but I just liked this one. It's light, small overall, and protects my head. Everything about it is good except some people won't be able to get past no drop down visor. There are slots in the foam that making wearing normal sunglasses and option. I haven't used sunglasses on the bike tho. I usually just squint lol. Also there are super flexibly thin sunglasses available that I might recommend if you wanted to wear sunglasses. You can probably find them on fortnine youtube channel.

The AGV K1 is an entry-level sportbike helmet that offers good value for money. It has a beautiful Hi Viz graphic, but that's about it. The vision is poor when tucked in, and the quality is cheap in some areas. It's best suited for riders who want a helmet that looks good and is affordable, but don't need the best performance or quality. Here are some of the pros and cons of the AGV K1 helmet:Pros:- Beautiful Hi Viz graphic- Affordable- Lightweight and comfortable- Well-ventilated- Meets DOT and ECE safety standardsCons:- Poor vision when tucked in- Cheap quality in some areas- No drop-down sun visor / hard to get the cool visorsOverall, the AGV K1 is a good choice for riders who want a helmet that looks good and is affordable. Love LOVE the design! The original padding is a bit uncomfortable so I'd definitely buy better face padding. Con: The wind noise is pretty bad if you're going 60+ ?? which sucks cuz I love this helmet?. Chin strap is pretty short. Pros: Pretty lightweight and I get so many compliments with the design????

This is the most beautiful high(ish)-viz helmet you could ask for. Truly awesome. I was hyped for this, but the real deal looks even better than the pictures.But...it fits a bit too round for my head shape (I'm a LG on the size chart and it was perfect on my cheeks, but gave me a migraine and a half for being too tight against my forehead). Worse, the outer shell had pulled apart from the EPS - this was an open box sale with no supporting paperwork, so I'm guessing this had been exchanged, re-exchanged, shipped, and re-shipped across plenty of time zones and climates. Not a ringing endorsement for durability, though.I almost wanted to keep it as a piece of VR memorabilia, anyways (that's how cool this thing looks), but returned it for a very prompt Revzilla ... MoreThis is the most beautiful high(ish)-viz helmet you could ask for. If AGV revises the internal shape to fit a bit longer, I'd take another shot on one of these.
When riding on a sport bike tucked the visor does not provide enough visibility. I have to push up on the chin to be able to see while going fast. Also padding is shit this helmet has not insulation and The velcro where the padding connects by your forehead always comes exposed and irritates me. for the price it's a decent helmet. I would never buy again though.
Really like this helmet, especially for the price. Feels very premium and well fitting. I'm generally a small in helmets and this one, while a bit tight at first, quickly loosened to a perfect fit within a few rides. Bought an additional iriduim silver visor and a pinlock insert, this combined with the integrated visor prop makes fog a non-issue (even wearing glasses! Which are also very comfortable given the channels integrated into the helmet padding.) A couple of minor negatives round out this otherwise amazing helmet. First, the chin is highly angular, and this requires you to buy a helmet-specific chin mount for go pro's/ action cams. Second, my ears are a bit small, lower and more forward than average and thusly getting bluetooth speakers to sit over my ears ... MoreReally like this helmet, especially for the price. The helmet comes with integrated velcro patches/space for the devices but still isn't quite where my ears are. Though neither of those issues would have stopped me from making this worthwhile purchase
Switched to this hat from a Shoei RF-SR and I really like it. It's lighter than the Shoei and only a little bit noisier at speed. The best part though is the aero: at speed this thing feels like it isn't there at all. Airflow through the vents is extremely effective. There is zero buffeting in any head position. My gripe is that the visor that ships with it has a little bit of the pinlock seal ridge that lands right in my line of sight. I got a non-pinlock visor and it's perfect.
I was very excited to receive this helmet when I purchased it on July 14th, 2023. I only used it 2 times so far, the second time being on July 29th. On July 29th, I took a road trip from Staten Island to Long Island. By the time I got to my destination, which was at a block party. I was very thirsty and could not wait to drink some water after riding in 100 degrees weather and stuck in traffic for some time. Finally, after 2hours when I had arrived, my wife came walking over to my Motorcycle and I asked her to hold my helmet while I immediately took out water from my saddle bag so I can drink it. At the same time, there were several people walking over to us, including a niece. My wife diverted her attention to the niece; I guess to pick her up, while I was drinking ... MoreI was very excited to receive this helmet when I purchased it on July 14th, 2023. My wife diverted her attention to the niece; I guess to pick her up, while I was drinking water and all of a sudden, I heard the helmet being dropped accidentally onto the asphalt. As a result I was instantly nervous; when I went to pick up my helmet, I became very upset to discover it was full of scratches!
Love this helmet. Fair price. Spent long days in rain, extreme heat, sometimes both. Gets more comfortable as you wear it and it breaks in. Absorbs sweat well. I use a helmet deodorizer for quick refreshes but the lining comes out so I will be washing what I can next after a few more rides. Lens clears well in the rain with a swipe of the finger and doesn’t fog up once you start to ride and have the vents open. Would love a transition lens, not sure if there’s on available for this model but that would be the icing on the cake for me. 100% recommend
Bought this helmet after seeing the visor shop advertising at a local race meeting. Even though the helmet is cheap, the quality is top notch, with the addition of my intercom system this helmet was perfect for my latest trip of over 1000 miles around Scotland. The helmet is very good at resisting wind buffeting. And does not seem to apply too much pressure to any one point of my head.
