Great looking helmet but the sizing is different from every other helmet brand I have owned. Have always used a medium so that's what I ordered and feels to big. The wind noise is terrible and as another person said. Wind goes straight into your ears. The chin flap feels cheap and poorly is made. Also the helmet came missing one of the top 2 air vent adjusters. No way to open or close it. Didn't notice it missing until I had already installed my bluetooth headset otherwise I would return it.

I loved the helmet but didn't get a chance to really test it out. I ordered a S/M too big. I have returned it through FEDEx and waiting for my refund. I will definitely reorder a S . The fabric felt luxurious inside the helmet. I love the graphics on the helmet they look very professional, not sloppy stuck on stickers. (Like my KYT helmet which u love for very different reasons (tab to open visor in middle). Do, since I haven't ridden with the AGV K3, nothing to report there.

I wanted to upgrade to an ECE 22.06 helmet and get my first AGV lid, so I'm glad RevZilla decided to stock this latest model! I'm so happy with my purchase! The helmet looks stylish, and the red color is straight-up fire! My head measured 22.8 inches, and the medium fits me just right - safe and snug but not uncomfortably tight! The inner cushion feels soft and premium, the sun visor and external visor combo work great, and the aerodynamics on the helmet work well to reduce weight while riding! The airflow is fantastic but comes at a slightly higher-than-desired wind noise (I don't wear earplugs).Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an ECE 22.06 helmet from a quality brand that doesn't break the bank!PS - The pin-lock insert in the box was ... MoreI wanted to upgrade to an ECE 22.06 helmet and get my first AGV lid, so I'm glad RevZilla decided to stock this latest model! I got this about a month ago to replace my HJC modular as I was finding it too heavy and tedious to put on/take off. I was drawn to it because of the green colour which I hadn’t seen in any other helmets, but the features have been great. It is a larger fitting helmet for sure - I wear a medium in my HJC and when I measured my head I was between a small and medium, but when I went to physically try it on I needed an XS. The first couple times it hurt my cheeks to wear but now it fits great. It’s lightweight and comfortable. The wind noise is a bit obnoxious - I have a Lexin comm unit and at highway speeds it’s hard to hear directions, but no problem at all at city speed. I wear glasses and they slide in super easily (actually even more easily than my modular) and I ... MoreI got this about a month ago to replace my HJC modular as I was finding it too heavy and tedious to put on/take off. I wear glasses and they slide in super easily (actually even more easily than my modular) and I love the internal sun visor. It vents great and I haven’t had any issues with fogging even without using the Pinlock liner thing. I don’t know that I would have paid full price, but for the sale price it is definitely worth it!
Bought this as a replacement for my primary helmet I have had for years and was finally wearing out.Pros: Fits my head very well, the looks are nice, comfortable strap, build quality seems good.Cons: Airflow through the vents is terrible. With them fully open i can barely feel anything. Visor is multi-position but the lowest position open directs the wind right into your eyes so anything over 30mph sucks. That causes the helmet to be even hotter. So if you need a cold morning helmet this would be good for that. Its a good thing this helmet was cheap as i don't feel as bad about my purchase but wont buy this model again.
This is the 4th helmet I have had, some have been more car racing and some for motorcycles. My head size is 57.5cm measured with a tape measure. The one I bought was a Medium. The fit is very tight when trying to put it on. The sides crush my ears and hurt to put on and take off when I first started using it. Now after 2 months of use it is less harsh when putting on, but it still hurts taking off the helmet. It feels like the helmet was deigned for some with a head smaller at the eyebrows and large at the jaw, like the "Crimson Chin" or Leno. However, when the helmet is on I am pretty comfy in it. The cheeks are prefect. The windnoise is pretty loud, but it is not unbearable. Add ear plugs and it is okay for a 1 hour ride at highway speeds. Summary: Very lightweight, with good features. All the toggles are easy to operate, and it's very comfortable to wear. There are a couple of fitment issues that I had, but I don't feel like it detracts too much from the finish.Sound: The bottom of the helmet appears to be worryingly open, which lets a lot of wind and ground noise in. It almost feels like an ADV or dirt bike helmet with how open the chin is. I don't like how the included chin guard feels, but I would consider installing it if this is a problem. The visor has a thick gasket all the way around, which dampens sound significantly.Features: AGV touts that this helmet has a micro opening system, which is a button/slider that you press up on to partially unlatch the visor to increase airflow. As built, the feature caused more problems than it was worth though. The position of the visor opening tab and the flex of the visor caused the latch to hold onto the visor way too hard. It made it so that the visor was effectively locked in the down position unless you really push up on the opening slider with so much force that the helmet would shift on your head. This isn't really great to do while riding, because it upset my balance too much for comfort. I used a small file to remove a little material from both sides of the latch, and now it works great.Other than that, the vents are easy to operate, and the sun visor easily goes up and down with a slider on the left side.Size and fit: I must be on the low end of the largest shell size, because the XL feels and looks really big around my head. It looks about as big as a SNELL rated helmet would, but it does look more proportional with armor on.The curve of the entry hole makes the chin point down to my chest. This makes the helmet balance on two points when resting on a table, and the chin actually hits my shoulder slightly when I turn to check. The wide visor window makes it easy to follow through the motion to look over my shoulder, but it is a little annoying. My head is very oblong, so while my skull fits the XL, my cheeks don't feel as tight as they should against the padding. Going to order some L size pads, as I've done with most of my other helmets.
I think this helmet is ok for the money, I will say steer clear of this helmet if you are in extremely warm climates or ride a faired bike. The ventilation is very poor in my opinion even with all vents open.Wind noise isn't terrible but it isn't too quiet either.Internal sun visor is great and clear. Materials inside are nice will have to see how it holds up. The internal visor makes the helmet bulkier than I expected though.Overall the helmet is ok, I'll probably use it for another season or two and then get something different. Came from a shoei rf1200 and I preferred that I think
I'll give a 4/5 because I have nothing to compare to. Great helmet so far! I wear glasses and was worried the drop down visor wouldn't work with them, it totally does!! This means I don't have to worry about finding myself riding at dusk or later stuck with a tinted shield or having to get prescription sunglasses. I'm fairly skinny, 5' 11'' 150lb, and the chin strap hits my adams apple in a slightly uncomfortable way but I assume this is something I'll get used to.
I've heard nothing but good things about AGV helmets. I bought this helmet because it meets the new ece 22.06 regulations. I also bought it because the red matches my motorcycle perfectly. I've ridden about 300 miles in the helmet, on the freeway and back roads. The helmet is pretty comfortable and the visibility is great. In my opinion, it's a bit on the loud side. The BIG downside and the biggest reason for the poor ratings is that this helmet has almost zero ventilation. My latest ride wearing it was about an hour long on an 80° day and I've come to realize that this is the warmest helmet I've ever worn.
