But this helmet cuts right through the wind beautifully! Getting up into triple digit speeds I did notice the nose guard moves into your nose a little bit. I wasn't surprised as I had read other reviews stating this same thing. Definitely not a deal breaker since I'm not consistently riding at speeds like this. I had zero issues with wind catching and pulling my head up or to the side! HUGE WIN! I was literally giggling in my helmet with joy after this ride. I did my first ride without earplugs, and it is pretty noisy. So Ill be sure to wear them next time.I am incredibly happy with this helmet! I just need to make some decals or something fun to dress it up a bit. :)

This is a strange review, I didn't get this helmet. Oh I wanted to, though. I have, it seems a LONG OVAL head. The K6 S is a moderate oval.I started with the size chart, and knew I didn't have a round head and my old KBC VR-2 was a SM size too, but was loose side to side. OK, I tried the XS and I could not wear it for twenty minutes until major compression headache.On to the SM size. I was a 53cm and the SM was 54cm and up. The AGV fit small so I figured I'm good to go! I though I was good to go but after 45 minutes in the helmet watching Moto GP races on my tablet, the headache was back. I could feel my pulse in my head pounding after awhile. I took the helmet off and huge welts popped out of my head when circulation returned. Admit it and move on the the right head shape. I lived when people like me just ahd to deal with it.This mess could be avoided if a proper OVALITY (new size aid) chart is added!-Measure the circumference as usual. This is the Gross size helmet circumference.- Measure your front to back distance between the widest part the helmet touches. Imaging two vertical board on each side of your head. Measure the distance between them.- Measure the widest side to side (ear-to-ear) distance. Move the boards to the side of your head.- Now divide your heads front to back by the side to side measurement numbers.A ROUND head will be 1.0, same both ways. It's a circle!A MODERATE oval may be a ratio of 1.1-1.2 (no more than 20% longer than wide).A LONG OVAL may be greater than 1.2 and up.Since this is a ratio, it is the same chart for all head's "ovality". Easy to do, so let's do it!Now have something more concrete than a guess that your head is round or how oval. In God we trust all else bring data.The AGV is definitely a moderate oval and I'm clearly a LONG OVAL so off to ARAI Signet-X I have to go once I re-gather more funds. UGH.But, the AGV K6 S is a great helmet if it fits you. Quality is good, it's features are great. it's price is proper and it is DOD and better, ECE tested (every design has to be tested to certify ECE). I like the center face shield LOCK. And, the face shield is EASY to use and remove, and stays put at each detent. The vents are easy to feel with my fall weight armored gloves. The weight is extra ordinary, I loved it. It also comes with pin lock AND the shield stock. Not just pin lock ready.I 100% recommend trying this helmet if you are a moderate oval head. LONG OVAL heads will never fit this shell unless it is too wide and rocks back and fourth on your head like my old KBC does once it is long enough to not smash your head. And no, new helmets Do Not break-in a lot with modern linings that are designed to stay put and do their job protection your head, and that means they don't squish out of the way too much like the old days. My head did a lot of squishing linings out of the way over the last 45 years!I can't report wind and noise in the living room. But I wear ear plug, always. The lining feels gorgeous and should be really nice with the right head shape. Air flow? Don't know that either so cross check with riders for that.

This helmet is amazing! Slick and sporty looks in tandem with wonderful safety certifications.My only challenge was the sizing. When I measured my head it came out around a 57cm circumference, and following the size chart it was a Medium. I got it, barely able to get on. Re-ordered in a size large - snug and comfortable!To all looking to buy this I'd recommend sizing up unless you've got a really slim face. Or order two sizes and return what doesn't fit.The helmet is wonderfully light and the vision is amazing. I felt like I could see more than the tunnel vision I had was normally permitting!

Coming from a competitive brand that I’ve been buying for decades, it was a big deal to change. Super happy I did. The fist thing I noticed was the optics of both the clear and tinted visors are exceptional. Wide field of view is also great. Dark visor could definitely be darker. Very comfortable fit hot my shape. Vents work well. Helmet is stable at speed (I ride a hyper naked bike)Wind noise is noticeable, probably due to the large ear cutouts. I thought the visor lock mechanism would be awkward, but I was use to it quickly.Some air turbulence in front of the eyes which is not good when cold . But….I’d buy again

Comes with a pinlock. Thankfully, I haven't had the opportunity to test the protection yet, but in that and most other important ways, it feels like a major upgrade from the Bell Bullet clone I had before. The packaging may not feel "premium" but the product inside definitely does.Cons: The visor. The visor. And the visor. If you wear wire frames, you're probably fine. If you wear chunky acetate frames, it's probably a no go.Neutral: There are helmets that are cheaper and there are helmets that are far more expensive. I think the price of this one is pretty fair considering what you get. The noise control is much better than the helmet I came from, but it doesn't seem best in class. Which means that on average, it's probably medium good. Since I'm riding a Vespa and not a Harley, this is less important to me than it might be to someone else.Final verdict: Generally, I like the helmet a lot. I like it enough that I'm willing to deal with the nit-picks. When I'm ready to buy a new one, I would absolutely buy it again, but I do hope that by that time they've addressed the visor issues.

I unfortunately hate this helmet. I've had it now for over a year thinking just needed time but just hate it. Had an RF1200 and the weight difference and reviews made me go for the K6.I don't understand how a helmet can be both so loud (understand probably is because of the light weight) but also let very little air in. Other than the weight I don't see any other area where this is better or even comparable to the RF.It is not comfortable what so ever, I would say is more of a round oval. It's always on my nose (I do have a big nose but never had issues so badly like with this helmet), it seems to put a lot of pain points all over but interestingly enough doesn't really seem to hold my head properly (I did get it fitted correctly, smaller was way too small).So ... MoreI unfortunately hate this helmet. Because of all the good reviews I kept thinking it needed time or it was a a fitting problem, but after re-trying other sizes it is clear that at least for my head this is a terrible helmet.My advice if you are considering, if you try it and notice any of those things it will get worse.

Really like this helmet. Not as quiet as some of the other reviews suggest and have a love/hate relationship with the visor latch mechanism. Really like that it locks into different positions: fully closed and partly open. So it doesn't fly open when you shoulder check at speed. Easy to release from the partly open position but I haven't found an easy way of unlocking from fully closed position. You really have to jam your thumb into the release which pushes the helmet into your chin. Not an issue for long high speed running but maybe not great in traffic with a lot of stop and start.
