Bought this helmet due to the reviews and the sale price. It is an excellent helmet, very comfortable! My first motorcycle helmet and I feel like this will last a long time. Looks good on the head, I got the Nardo Gray and it matches nicely with an all black fit.I had this helmet for about 3 months now and it is broken it well to where it conforms to the structure of my face and head. It has a good ventilation system where it does not get too hot. The pin lock system does a great job of preventing that. I highly recommend this helmet if it's your first one. Also, it's ECE and DOT certified, can't go wrong with that! Style, safety features, and comfort!Tip: if you are looking into getting another colored visor, I'd save the pin lock insert and use it on your new ... I Recently decided to transition from a half to a full helmet and believe me this wasn't an easy decision, nor easy to find "THE" helmet that works. I tried eight different helmets from Icon, HJC, Simpson, LS2, and Scorpion with none of them feeling right. That is until I found this little beauty. Wore this in the house for multiple hours before taking it out and I'm telling you, this is the BEST full face helmet I've ever put on the dome! Zero pressure points anywhere , I don't feel like my heads in a vice, can wear my sunglass with out them being distorted, buffeting is almost zero (@ 65 - 70mph), ventilation on the top of the dome is great, and the weight is feather light. The only drawbacks are the noise is much greater than I expected, but bearable, and the ... It fogs up in a matter of seconds, but AGV includes the clear pin lock shield with the purchase, so that took care of that and I imagine once the Bluetooth system goes into the lid, we'll see how that affects the noise. Even though there are a couple of minor issues with this lid, I'm still giving it 5 stars, simply because of the feel and weight. Truly an AGV fan!

I've had my helmet for roughly 3k miles so far. It's been fantastic. It's beyond comfortable. It's incredibly quiet and is the lightest helmet I've tried on to date while also being one of the more protective - unless you're spending more $In my opinion this is the supreme compromise between getting something that is actual quality gear and then overspending for hype on something. You can buy cheaper but they aren't anywhere as protective. You can buy more expensive but for the most part (except 6D probably) this helmet will be as protective for less money.

The AGV K6 I have is light, well made, and feature rich. The new K6S updated model is just as well made and full featured, but is also more aerodynamic and even lighter at under 1300 grams. I can feel the difference when riding in even less buffeting at speed on my naked bike. I also love the interior padding- just the right firm/soft balance, great soft texture, easy to remove and clean all pads, and despite the criticism about the visor, once you get the hang of opening and closing with the front center latch, it is easy and very positive to lock and unlock, and the visors, well a bit pricey due to the attachment mech, are flawless, thick, and provide a great wide angle view. I only wear AGV helmets. They dropped the Med large and small sizing with no issues- I was med small in the K6 and a medium fits perfectly. I also wear an X3000 which I think is the best of the retro helmets for fit, finish and style. However, the new K6S model is a great helmet- quiet, comfortable and fantastically lightweight.
I've had 3 helmets over the past few years riding. HCJ C70, Icon Airflite, and then this helmet. Will continue to stick with this helmet and/or future iterations. Wind noise is at a minimum and it's a very comfortable helmet overall. The padding on the inside is very easy to take out/put in to wash it. Have worn it for 8+ hours at a time and never any issues. Vents on the helmet allow a lot of airflow in the summer and in the colder weather the helmet does a great job keeping air out.Definitely recommend this helmet to anyone.
Overall I like the helmet. I went with the size that I measured and was suggested on the chart. When I got it I was worried it was a bit to small but I wore it for a good half hour without having any pain from it so I kept it hoping it would break in a bit and not be so bad. So far it's slowly breaking in and is less tight on my cheeks. Tons of padding though and feels like it could take some serious damage if needed. Wish the logo on the front wasn't so big and obnoxious or could be removed. I also got the Cardo pack talk to put in it and overall installation of it was easy and has worked well with it! When riding you can hear the wind a bit but it's not bad at all. Might be better if you wore the part under your chin to block it more but I personally never stuck ... MoreOverall I like the helmet. Will be upgrading the visor as I don't like the clear one. Other than the logo being ugly I really can't complain about the helmet it's self.
Love this helmet. It's so light (less than 3lbs.) & absolutely no buffeting regardless of speed or helmet angle. Wide field of view, and although the vents are small, the first click on the visor (half shut) flows tons of air. My only gripe is the visor release, not the best design and it can stick occasionally. But that 1 thing isn't significant enough to matter. I have 2 other helmets that cost twice as much as this one, yet I pull this one out of the closet every time. I'll admit that if I went down hard, I'd rather have my Arai strapped on. But that says more about Arai's dedication to safety (which naturally adds weight), than it does about the K6. But again, I always reach for the K sweet when saddling up, the Arai is cold and lonely in my closet since I ... MoreLove this helmet. I picked this helmet because it fit my head shape very comfortably and no other helmet in the store did. I realize that each manufacturer has a unique shape and the fit is very personal. This one felt very good the minute I put it on. It is tight as I am still breaking it in.The things that I like about this helmet is that it looks very good, it is super light and comfortable, the interior is plush and smells very good, the fit and finish is top-notch and high end. It is streamlined and very quiet. So quiet that I took off the windshield on my cruiser and at 60-70 mph, it feels quieter and calmer than with the windshield. It is obviously sculpted in a wind-tunnel, because riding at 70mph, I don't feel any buffeting or pressure from the wind, even if I am moving my ... Never really had any trouble with fogging. And it is DOT and ECE certified of course.I miss not having a drop-down visor. The helmet comes with a clear visor and the sun beats on my face in the mornings and evenings when I happen to be driving towards the sun. Cool, tinted shields are available, but they are $100 more. At that price ($600), you can get an AGV modular helmet with a drop down sun visor. This is my only regret.
Please keep in mind that having only worn bicycling helmets before this, this is the only motorcycle helmet I've ever owned.I got into motorcycling as I've backed off of bicycling due to pretty bad neck arthritis. The K6 appealed to me because of its light weight and ECE rating. It really is light- holding it along with an RF-1200 or a Regent-X (the two other helmets I was interested in) you can really tell the difference.Fit has been spot-on for me around my skull with no hot spots after an hour or more, though I do note that the chin portion of the helmet does sit closer to my face than in other helmets. The chinstrap does feels close to my Adam's apple, but this is the only annoyance that I've found.Ventilation does not seem to be lacking, though ... It definitely takes some practice getting adept at actuating them, especially the forehead vents.Vision out the helmet is great- I have no complaints about my field of vision wearing this. Removing the visor for cleaning is super-easy, and the position detents work well for me. I definitely like the slightly-cracked-open position you get when you push the visor release button.I wear earplugs and ride a 300cc bike, so I can't really comment on how quiet it is.Have to say that the helmet looks super-cool in the Nardo gray color with the pop of the tricolore logo. One thing- if you purchase the K6, don't make the mistake I did of using the chin strap when snapped (not using the D-rings) as a carrying strap. I did this the other day, and the snap gave out, dropping the helmet on (thankfully) a carpeted surface.
I unfortunately hate this helmet. I've had it now for over a year thinking just needed time but just hate it. Had an RF1200 and the weight difference and reviews made me go for the K6.I don't understand how a helmet can be both so loud (understand probably is because of the light weight) but also let very little air in. Other than the weight I don't see any other area where this is better or even comparable to the RF.It is not comfortable what so ever, I would say is more of a round oval. It's always on my nose (I do have a big nose but never had issues so badly like with this helmet), it seems to put a lot of pain points all over but interestingly enough doesn't really seem to hold my head properly (I did get it fitted correctly, smaller was way too small). So ... Because of all the good reviews I kept thinking it needed time or it was a a fitting problem, but after re-trying other sizes it is clear that at least for my head this is a terrible helmet. My advice if you are considering, if you try it and notice any of those things it will get worse.
