I have been using first generation pool robots for at least 15 years. This was an upgrade from my previous Aquabot which was tethered and ready for an upgrade. While this item seem to be highly rated by reviewers it did not work at all for me. I have a standard rectangular 18x36 pool with nothing special other than four steps in the shallow end. Given the advertised route that the robot takes in the pool it seems like a no-brainer in a rectangular pool. I would start it in the shallow end and immediately after the first few Cycles it would lose its way and Drift from the pattern leaving whole sections uncleaned. This got worse as it entered the deeper end of the pool or it began performing wheelies during every path. Thankfully, I was able to return for a full refund with Walmart.

We were not impressed by this cleaner at all. It missed the edge where walls meet floor most of way around our pool. We felt the track protrude slightly in the the sweeper roller so when it meets the wall it doesn’t clean the edge. I don’t think it could cope with our kidney pool - as it couldn’t map the bottom with gaps and stripes left on the floor. It did clean the walls to water level ok but The collection basket let the smaller particles through so it dusty still on the bottom floor when it had finished.Obviously we send it back with Pool and Spa Warehouse 30 day free returns.

It cleans my 9.5 x 4.4 metre pool really well. I have watched it twice and it covers everything. When finished it parks against the wall for easy retrieval. I was a bit sceptical about finer particles but it blasts them strongly enough so the pool filter is able to pick them up.My thoughts around this cleaner was that I let it do its thing twice a week and then do a manual vacuum once a fortnight. I dont need to do this. It cleans and scrubs the walls really well and as mentioned previously any fine particles get blasted into the water well enough that my filter picks them up.I highly recommend this product and can even more highly recommend Pool and Spa warehouse as the supplier.I ordered it Wednesday and it arrived Friday with regular tracking and ... MoreIt cleans my 9.5 x 4.4 metre pool really well. I have a rectangular 26x12 pool with quarter rounded corners and stairs that goes from 3' - 6' deep. After several uses overall it's an "ok" robot cleaner. It took about 3-4 hours to get it all cleaned then loose power. I always use the Auto mode which cleans the walls first then when battery runs low, it will focus on cleaning the bottom. In Auto mode, it always gets stuck in one corner of my pool where the stairs and rounded corner meet where half of the robot sits vertically in the end of the first step of the stair. This will happen several times in the same location in one session. So, I make it a point to check on it every hour. It will get itself out but only after about 15-20 minutes. This will happen several times in the same location in one session. So, I make it a point to check on it every hour. It will get itself out but only after about 15-20 minutes. So, it consumes unnecessary energy. The filter does not catch smaller particles like if you have some algae in the pool. So what I do is put this thing in while the filter is running which is not recommended in the manual. But, I do it with my filter running in low RPM only. It does not learn the shape of the pool like a Roomba learns the floor plan of a house. It looses orientation while turning while in the slope. Overall, it does it's job good. But, not great. Easy to clean filter.
Needed a replacement to a corded pool cleaner and with the strong brand reputation of Aiper, decided to give this one a try.Box shipped promptly and upon opening first thing i notice is how well Aiper had packed product for shipping. It took maybe 4 min to unbox/unpack and get read to charge. After charging for a hour or so to get fully charged, it was time to put in pool to clean.Product really is great! it cleans all corners of the pool, walls, and even waterline with ease. Also cleans steps and never has been stuck like my previous corded unit.Once clean is finished, it gets to a side of wall for ease of removal, and Basket is super easy and efficient to open/empty and large enough for many runs.Looking forward to purchasing more Aiper products as they ... MoreNeeded a replacement to a corded pool cleaner and with the strong brand reputation of Aiper, decided to give this one a try.Box shipped promptly and upon opening first thing i notice is how well Aiper had packed product for shipping. It took maybe 4 min to unbox/unpack and get read to charge. We were able to open the pool this year early, and I used this new Aiper wireless cleaner to perform the first sweep of the year, and it did a fantastic job. It got all the leaves and worms from all the corners and even on top of our tanning deck. I was really pleased to see how well it climbed the walls and cleaned the scum line at the water edge. I was worried about the weight with a battery before ordering, but I think it's actually lighter, than my corded Dolphin I’ve been using and a lot easier to carry from the garage to pool without the cord. The Aiper Scuba focuses on cleaning the walls, and then when the battery hits 50%, it focuses on the pool floor to maximize batter life. Nice feature.I have owned a Dolphin corded pool cleaner for a few years. Nice feature.I have owned a Dolphin corded pool cleaner for a few years. It's done a decent job but is surprisingly heavy and the cord and added control panel required is a pain. The Aiper is a big upgrade in convenience and performance, and it’s a better price than its competitors. The Aiper seems to have better AI to map the pool path for cleaning efficiency. If you want to go wireless, give this a try!
I’m honestly not sure the vacuum I received was defective or if the product is simply garbage. Gets stuck in deep end of pool every time. Even the area of deep end that gets all the attention is neglected. Vacuum simply stirs up leaves and dirt - very little collects in basket. It’s serves fantastic as a brush - stirs everything up - but the vacuum does not even come close to meeting the mark. I rarely write reviews and even more rarely do I actually recommend against a product - but this is the exception to that rule. Aiper should not have launched this product - and Best Buy should highly consider changing the makes and models of pool vacuums they currently offer.
Was looking to move away from our original tethered cleaner. Saw sale on this unit with good reviews and stated warranty. Have been very happy with performance but suggest emptying/cleaning unit immediately after retrieval. Only complaint is top cover (black) can be hard to unlatch if sand/debris gets in latch area; but have found that if I squeeze corner of latch handle, it opens. Very happy with the 'fines' it vacuums up. Very powerful suction so it easily climbs vertical pool sides if you run such cycle. I typically set the cleaner to remain on the bottom only.
The Aiper Scuba N1 is a lifesaver! I have used many other pool cleaners over the past 10 years and the Aiper Scuba is, hands-down, the absolute best that I have ever used. Not only is it cordless (no more tangles cords!), but the battery charges so quickly and it gets the job done in a matter of minutes. We have an in-ground Doughboy pool (vinyl) with several inclines and a very deep end, and this robot covers the entire pool and walls with it's climbing tracks. It even cleans the waterline for you! Each morning, I put the Scuba N1 into my pool and it gets to work while I get to watch. The filter basket is very easy to clean and the unit is very easy to retrieve from the pool.We have 3 dogs that absolutely LOVE to swim in our pool and if you also have dogs, ... MoreThe Aiper Scuba N1 is a lifesaver! This robot takes care of it all! It easily picks up all the hair and dirt, along with leaves, flowers, grass, any whatever else may have gotten into my pool, and I LOVE IT!It is an incredible value for the peace of mind that it brings me to know that each day, my pool is clean and ready to enjoy for the whole family... dogs, too! I highly recommend buying this today!
Beautiful design, well made, and easy to use. Great suction, and decent charge capacity. However, its effectiveness is very much hindered by the fact that it can't maintain the prescribed pattern and gets all confused, turning at odd angles and vacuuming over the same spot again and again. Same, no matter what mode I use. If my pool was perfectly rectangular with no rounded corners, and with only one depth, it might work (I can only guess). Anything else, just turns its brains to mush. Eventually, it cleans my small pool after 1.5 charges but it is supposed to clean it 3 times with only one charge. I see similar stories from others for all of their models. Not recommended.
