As a first time buyer using the StockX platform, I was extremely pleased on how user-friendly the app was. The communication was top-notch and the updates were tremendous. As for the product...the 2023 Air Jordan 12 playoffs, they were in spectacular shape upon arrival and deadstock as advertised. The shoe box was slightly damaged however I contribute that to the shipping process. Overall I was very happy with the purchase and ordered a pair of the 2020 Air Jordan 5 Fire Red. As long as that arrives in great shape I will be using the StockX app for more needs in the near future!

This shoe is great! I have purchased Nikes for years but this is my first pair of Jordans and I love them! The style and look of the shoe is terrific. Because of the return policy at StockX, I was afraid to make the purchase without the ability to try the shoes on, but these shoes are very true to size, comfortable, and very good quality. I would definitely recommend this shoe and StockX!

Was able to score the next day after release and it showed up 3 days later. Seems like maybe this retro wasn’t as popular but the new color way is beautiful! I’m glad they were still available and hopefully going forward I can get more releases as I have failed many many times trying to get ‘‘em in the past with other releases. I’ve had many frustrating times with releases but that’s fine because I’ll just go to a retailer and give them the business if sneakers can’t provide me. This time it all worked out though!

Great design concept, poor execution.

I was really looking forward to this release as I generally like the XIII's and this color/material combination looks so good in person, but the build quality of the shoe does not match its price. I feel this way because when I first tried on the shoes, the right shoe felt tighter around the toe box than the left. So, naturally, I played around with the laces and tongue. The idea being that maybe they were laced unevenly and re-lacing would fix the issue. It didn't. So I then decided to inspect (and admire) the shoe itself and that's how I noticed that some of the panels weren't aligned symmetrically across both shoes. Not by much and not all the panels, but enough to make the right shoe almost feel like a half size smaller making it strange and uncomfortable to ... MoreI was really looking forward to this release as I generally like the XIII's and this color/material combination looks so good in person, but the build quality of the shoe does not match its price. Not by much and not all the panels, but enough to make the right shoe almost feel like a half size smaller making it strange and uncomfortable to wear. If you look at the images I've uploaded and compare the distances between the 3M panels and the midsole on both shoes you will see how on one shoe it is tighter (or closer) to the midsole than the other in a few places. One other flaw I'll point out on my pair, is the stitching of the 3M panel by the hologram. On one shoe the line is nice and round all the way through while on the other it comes to a sharp point where it meets the inner lining. For this reason and others I already mentioned, I cannot recommend this shoe at this price.

Love the look, not the feel :/

This shoe is surprisingly easy to dress up. It goes with many different types of clothes and types of dress. The big drawback, is that this is the second time I buy 13s and it feel as if the manufacturing isn’t the best. The heel feels as if the cushion inside the shoe is uneven compared to the other side. It’s the second time I run into this problem with the 13s, kinda sad about it.

Not as good as they use to be
26 January 2018

I started reading other peoples reviews on the 13's. I always just assumed if you got J's (as long as they weren't replicas), they would be top notch quality. Mine weren't even as bad as I've seen others show. I just recently received the black/olive 13's. Overall they are decent, but you can see a few places where they don't line up or match up. You can also see that one one portion of the shoe, the material will be smooth. And another portion of the show, it will be rough. And then the portions don't match. So the tongue on one shoe is smooth, but not on the other. The toe on one shoe is smooth, but not on the other. Also on the bottom, it looks like glue marks or impression of where the black part was glued on. I need to check my other 13's but I don't remember ... MoreI started reading other peoples reviews on the 13's. I just assumed Jordans ordered off the Nike website would be top quality. Back in the day, these little defects would be one of the easy ways to tell if the shoe was a replica. If I had this shoe in front of me and someone was trying to sell it to me, there would be no way that I would think the shoe is authentic and that person ordered them directly from Nike.

Poor Quality - Shoes Not Even Symmetrical
24 August 2017

I bought this pair directly from Nike.com the day it was released. However, upon receiving the shoes, I found that the pair is not even symmetrical...I mean, NOT EVEN CLOSE...(see attached pictures for details. As you can see, from the posterior angle, the shoes are grossly asymmetrical). Knowing that qualities of the Jordan's are no longer the same as in the old day, I had moderate expectations, but still expect decent quality from the supposedly premium line of Nike shoes. I can tolerate glue marks, some loose thread ends here and there (both of which this pair does have), etc., but to purchase a pair of $190 (pre-tax) shoes directly from Nike.com and receive a pair with such gross defects is simply unacceptable. Just to make it clear, I deliberately purchased from Nike.com, hoping to have the peace of mind that I will receive a pair that has passed the quality control. However, DISAPPOINTMENT is what I received from Nike. I mean, if Nike still cares about quality control, they would not have shipped such a defective pair of shoes to customers. This wastes the customer's time, creates more frustration for Nike customers, costs Nike money and reputation, and will only lead to more bad reviews. Nike's got to step up with their quality control for their supposedly premium Jordan Retro Shoes.

Awesome pair of Jordan 13's! I love the all black colorway with the red and yellow feature. You can rock the with any kind of outfit. Had to cop these pair for my shoe collection. Very comfortable on feet. David Washington, D.C.

What reason do you need? 🤷🏻‍♂️
16 August 2023

I love Nike. Always will and always have. I love there products. I’ve never been let down besides the (SNKRS) app but that’s a book in itself. Il continue to shop with Nike because there products are meticulously crafted to the standards of the greatest athletes in the world. And this shoes isn’t any different. If you need a review to buy from Nike. You shouldn’t be shopping with them in the first place. Good day mate.
