I have 2 pairs of the Kobe 8s and I always thought they were some of the best shoes I'd ever worn. That was recently challenged by the new Kobe 9s I got. I wore all of them casual, but I noted they were perfect for school when there was PE or watching a hs game and playing some 1v1 with a friend afterward on the court. I have worn them in the nasty brown snow as well as a clean basketball court. after getting the bottoms dirty I would just as easily wipe off the shoe with a damp rag and they would be good as new. they're the perfect shoe, whether you're playing competitively or just wearing them to school. I have a pair of the Kobe 9 highs as well that I only play with competitively, and I love those too.

The Kobe IX EM has improved from the last predecessor, the Kobe 8's. The outsole is more rigid, sturdy, and grips well onto the court. On lateral movement and quick cuts, I can feel my feet confined and secure during these moves. The outsoles are crazy on the courts, tremendous grip and light weight at the same time. Slightly little more comfortable than the Kobe 8's even with same setup. Will have to break in first 5 minutes or so to really have all the materials and cushion work itself to confine around your feet. Definitely a go to shoe.

First time I have bought a pair of Kobe's and I am very happy with the shoes. I only got it for the USA colors not really a limited edition shoe kind of guy but I own several pairs of sneakers. I am generally an Air Max 360 guy my self. I am a size 12 and they fit very good with plenty of room in the toe box which I find important. To play ball in these I would have to go with an up grade in my ankle braces; I feel I could play in these if I wanted to though. I like the insole it kind of messages your feet with the design of it. The lacing is very secure and the out sole seems very pretty durable thus far. Over very satisfied wight he purchase, yes they are expensive so I will no comment on that lol...

I love these shoes!! I have bought multiple pairs over the years, and would certainly recommend them. They are true to the size chart and are the perfect width for my feet, that being said if you like more room go up a half size then you normally wear because they are VERY true to size. I am very picky about my toes feeling too closed in and these shoes are open enough that my toes never feel uncomfortable. The only downside is not having a ton of support or cushion in the bottom, so I make sure to wear inserts or different shoes when walking for more than 8 hours straight. I tried the very popular Tanjuns once, and while they were comfortable, I didn't quite like the look or how they made my toes feel.
I use the shoes for working out and running daily. Very comfortable and lightweight. In big kids I'm a size 6, typically an 8 in women, but a 7 1/2 felt great with a finger of additional room space, an 8 was too big for me. I'm considering getting another pair just for casual ware for those fun long event days you're on your feet (amusement park, outdoor concerts, festivals, working in a school lol). I highly recommend, great bang for your buck! 3 words: Cute, comfortable, & affordable!
I have not owned a sneaker in 20yrs! I wear heals and flips flops majority of the time. Over the course of the last couple of months my heal has truly been bothering me and painful when I walk in my flip flops. I felt like my heal needed support when I walk. These shoes have provided the comfort my heal needs. Its like walking on a pillow and they are really cute on my feet too. I am definitely gonna buy a couple more pairs, especially while they are on sale. My husband also bought the same shoe in a size 15!
I play 4 days a week, 3 hours at a time. I've been wearing Kobe's exclusively since the kobe 6. This is the best one yet. I loved the 8's, but the tongue always shifts to the side. The 9's have corrected that.The only knock I have is that this material gets dirty easily (being so light in color) I only play indoors, and yet there are smudges and marks that don't clean off easily. Gonna stick with darker colors in the future.I plan on getting some more, but I hate the madness surrounding the process of buying Kobe's these days. I don't have the patience for it. Can't understand why they make it so hard when the demand is so high. Guess I will just create my own on nikeID.

Only one minor complaint and that is I wish they would go back to a better sole and air units instead of the thick lunarlon or whatever this insole is made of but it is still very comfortable and locks down really well. Have only wore them once but I love these they blow the viii's out of the water by far. The sole is more firm on these than previous model the material is very similar to them as well. The tongue is back to normal finally the laces lock the shoe down very well. The fit is true to size but they might be hard to clean. Love the bright gold. Just an all around better shoe than the Viii's might be the best kobe yet the fives were my favorite but I think these are the new favorite. Get a pair you wont regret it. They look and feel like ... I bought these shoes for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She absolutely LOVES these shoes, she can't stop talking about how comfortable they are and how light weight they actually feel. She also liked the fact that it came in a variety of colors and as a parent who's on a very limited budget I appreciate the low price of the shoes and I appreciate that they had a variety of different sizes and I was able to find the a size bigger than what she wears, which gives her a chance to grow into the shoes. I'll definitely recommend these shoes to my friends and family.
I was looking for a shoe that was supportive for walking distances when traveling or for just wearing with capris or rolled up pants/jeans and shorts. I did not want the athletic shoe look this time. I found it in this Nike. I normally wear a 10 and tend to have a narrow heel but like a bit more room through the toes. The 10 was huge. The 9.5 fit nicely with a thinner summer weight no show sock. So I'm happy. I wear orthotics and they were accommodated nicely. Good purchase!
