This Air Jordan 3 pays tribute to another classic Nike sneaker that was also designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Trainer 1. The white, grey, black, and “Chlorophyll” green color scheme on this Jordan 3 is similar to the one on the Air Trainer 1, which came out one year before the Air Jordan 3. The Air Trainer 1 ushered in the cross-training shoe and was the catalyst for an entire category of athletic training shoes.
