Air Optix Plus HydraGlyde contact lenses, from the leading manufacturer Alcon, are monthly lenses that utilise advanced technology for an ultra-comfortable wearing experience. The HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix helps the lens surface to retain water using a thin, protective layer of moisture. This keeps your eyes hydrated throughout the day and makes them a suitable lens for those that suffer from dry eyes, as well as those who wear lenses for sport. Air Optix plus HydraGlyde contact lenses use Alcon's SmartShield Technology to prevent deposits or protein build-ups from developing on the lens surface. The result is clear, comfortable vision that ensures your eyes stay irritation-free all day long.

They do the job. It seems they are a newer version of the Air Optix Aqua that I have been buying for years, but are being discontinued and replaced by these HydraGlyde. It could just be my own eyes, but they are slightly less comfortable than the Aqua...they feel like they become "foggy or gummy" faster...not really dry but a bit blurry after a few hours of wear. Still, great value though.

Worst lens EVER. I have decades of contact lens experience and have repeated issues with the hydraglyde line. I have been using Air Optix with no issues until this line. Now, after a few hours they become blurry and painful and a dark spot appears on the lens. Fortunately, my optometrist has been kind enough to replace at no charge, but I am now forced to try another brand. I don’t normally write negative reviews, and I thought it was just me…until I read other similar experiences. If you are lucky these lenses will work for you, but if you can’t wear them, try something else.

I wore Bausch and Lomb multi focal lenses for years. My optometrist had trouble ordering as they were back ordered, and she gave me the air optics multifocal to try… I absolutely love them and I’m sorry I didn’t get to try them sooner. I will never go back. These lenses lasted much longer than the others and are more comfortable… plus they are cheaper. People who wear multifocal‘s often have trouble with various lenses so it’s important to find the lenses that work for you. I was told this from the beginning and found it to be true. I have worn multifocal‘s for over 30 years. Love these.

I’m in my mid thirties and my eyes are getting more dry . These contact lenses allowed me to go through my day without having to use additional eyes drop . I work in the hospital 12h shift and these contact lenses lasted entire shift without irritation. Highly recommend for extended long wear although I do take them off after work. Never used longer than 24h, typically 16h a day is my usual and they lasted pretty well .
I thought this was a scam nope! How can I get a year worth of contacts for under 100? Got them early I might add! I figured what's the catch? Okay they must be expired? Nope! I highly recommend and PS I never do reviews! I also blasted Facebook with a good review for this company!
If it's too good to be true... Well, you know the rest. I've been wearing these lenses for several years, purchasing them at Costco. The price w/processing fee at CLK is half of Costco's price. So I ordered them. But when they arrived, I saw that the packaging graphic is different than what I've been getting, and worse yet, not the same as the graphic on the CLK site for this particular lens. The graphic on the site is the same as what I've been getting from Costco and also what's on the Alcon site, so I felt safe taking advantage of this great price. You might think I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But... I contacted CLK and they completely dismissed my concerns. So I turned to Alcon Medical Equipment Customer Support. They said there's no way to know if the product is counterfeit, because a good forger could always use legit product batch codes and other identifying numbers. But he did say this - Alcon makes the same-named product for non-USA markets and that they usually have different packaging graphics. Most disturbingly, he added - "I cannot confirm nor deny that the product itself is exactly the same as what we make for the USA market". Wow!
I've used these contacts for years. When I recently moved cities, I left my old optician's office with trials for new brands and variations, but ultimately decided to go back to Air Optix as they are the only contact that I can wear all day without my eyes getting uncomfortable and dry. Both my old opticians office and new would not fill my order with my prescription unless I either travelled the 6 hours back to my old office for them to approve of the fit of the contact in my eye (I've been wearing this type for years ... so ????) and the new office wanted to charge me for an entirely new examination and take new measurements (I had an eye exam in June at my old optometrists office and have a valid prescription from them).Clearly.ca made it so incredibly easy to ... MoreI've used these contacts for years. My insurance plan covered the payment and my contacts were at my door in a few days. I will never EVER be ordering contacts through a traditional office again. These contacts come with generic measurements and ultimately all the offices want to do is charge you for assessments and measurements. My case may not apply to everyone, especially not new contact wearers, but for anyone with experience wearing contacts and the same brand, clearly.ca is definitely the best option for replacement.
These contacts are wonderful. The eliminate the need for readers and still do a great job of correcting my distance vision. My eyes aren't dry with them, either. I've worn this style for several years now, but EZContacts had the best price, without crazy hidden fees, and fast shipping. I will order from them again.
I've been wearing contacts for 20 years and these are the dryest I've ever experienced. About noon they begin to irritate my eyes and drops don't help by 3 pm it feels as if the edges are curling and digging into my eyes. By 5pm I want to scratch my eyes out. I had ordered a year supply based on the sample pair my optometrist gave me. What a mistake! A fresh pair feels pretty good, but a week into them it's pure misery. But it seems like I am stuck now.
