I bought this mask to use with the Resmed Air Mini CPAP machine on transatlantic flights. This mask is listed as the only full face mask that is compatible with the Air Mini, and the HumidX system. At almost $1k, I considered the Air Mini to be pricey already, but having to buy this separate mask added even more to the cost. You can imagine my frustration at discovering that I need an ADDITIONAL product to use this mask with the Air Mini! Yes, I have to buy the AirMini F20 setup pack for an additional $42, on top of the expensive machine and mask. The first picture shows the type of coupler that SHOULD come on a mask listed as compatible with the AirMini/HumidX system. I have tried a lot of different masks over the years, and after discovering the AirTouch F20 For Her Full Face CPAP Mask, I have found the perfect mask. This mask is soooo comfortable, and it doesn't irritate my skin or leave marks like all of the other masks (I think I've tried every mask out there). I don't need any type of covering for it to keep it from irritating my face because it has a soft, plush, memory foam where it touches your face. You don't need to tighten the straps real tight to keep air from leaking. It's just amazing. And the speedy delivery and price were my reasons for choosing Direct Home Medical (plus I didn't need the hassle of a prescription). If you're wondering what type mask you should get, I HIGHLY recommend the AirTouch F20.

Airfit works better than Airtouch. The foam rubber gives a better fit and is more comfortable. But the foam rubber tears within a few weeks. So better fit but does not last long. Not so good fit Airtouch will last a longer time. As an engineer I feel they should be able to design a foam rubber insert so you only have to replace that but of course they would make less money. If your insurance is paying for it you may not care but if not it is crazy. All of this stuff is so overpriced. No wonder insurance is so costly. We are subsidizing huge profits for medical equipment manufacturers.

I recently bought replacement masks for my daughter's machine based on the specifications of the machine. They didn't fit. I wrote a one star review out of frustration. A man named Max contacted me and we talked about her machine and it turned out I ended up having to also purchase the head piece for those masks. He gave me a nice discount for my trouble. She was able to hook everything up to her machine and has told me that Lofta's masks were actually a lot BETTER than the original that came with her machine. Better fit, better comfort. THANK YOU, Max from Lofta for solving the problem.
I have been on BIPAP for 3 1/2 years. From the very beginning I have used the ResMed Airfit, which is a very good mask, however I would always leak more air than I felt I should despite trying all the suggestions for a good fit. I always just bought the same mask because I was largely happy with it. Then one day I took a closer look and read that the AirTouch was better for those with beards. I have a relatively thin beard and in the past 10 days of using the AirTouch I have had no leaks each night! I will be ordering this again and again.
Love the mask I‚Äôve tried probably 90% of all mask made I like the fact it has memory foam and it will leave less mask marks on your face but I found that the memory foam discolored and will dry and harden especially if you use air cleaner like so clean etc have to wash the mask by hand daily to save the life of the mask. Personally I think it‚Äôs too much money to replace mask once or twice a month for the price you and I pay. Unless you have insurance that pays it. I find the Airfit one is little better and last little longer and it doesn‚Äôt break down like this AirTouch does. I love the automatic mask cleaner save time and money. I find that I don‚Äôt have as much of air leaks with these mask. Other models I find that I still stop breathing and doesn‚Äôt help ... MoreLove the mask I‚Äôve tried probably 90% of all mask made I like the fact it has memory foam and it will leave less mask marks on your face but I found that the memory foam discolored and will dry and harden especially if you use air cleaner like so clean etc have to wash the mask by hand daily to save the life of the mask. Other than what I mentioned I hope this review helps anyone and the new cpap user don‚Äôt want people waste money when they don‚Äôt have to especially the ones who are like me pays out of pocket on the supplies and machine itself. If you wonder What machine I am using is ResMed Airsense 10.
I went through nasal mask after nasal mask desperately trying to make them work. My nose is a mess and no matter how many meds I take it will never completely clear and the noise and pressure of the nasal mask was a mess for me. I couldn’t fall asleep and the rare times I did I woke up with air billowing out of my mouth. I hated the chin strap bc it felt like I was suffocating trying to breathe through my nose with my mouth strapped closed. I have a beard and everyone told me a full face would not work including my doctors. I went on a recommendation by someone on Reddit for this with the memory foam pad and IT WORKS. It’s comfortable, it leaves some marks but they go away within 30 mins of waking up. It’s easy to wear, it’s super quiet. I was about to give up on CPAP after spending hundreds trying different nasal setups and this, this is it. It’s just a shame the mask is so damn expensive. I’be been taking really good care of it hoping to get more than 30 days of use just because $720 a year on masks is crazy. But man has this saved my entire attitude about the CPAP. Make sure you print the size chart and size appropriately first because it would be an expensive mistake to find out it’s too small or large.
As a first-time CPAP user, the ResMed AirTouchâ„¢ F20 has been a revelation. Its UltraSoftâ„¢ memory foam cushion provided unparalleled comfort, making my transition to using a CPAP machine surprisingly smooth. The mask's design facilitated easy breathing, significantly enhancing my sleep quality from the very first use. Highly recommend for new users seeking comfort and ease.
This was the first mask I got. I got 4+ masks after this as I was trying to find the right one but I’m back to using this one again. It is extremely effective at avoiding leaks and if you have long hair and/or use low-mid pressures then it may be perfect for you. For someone like me who has a short crew cut and uses high pressures of 15-20 (requiring the mask to be extra tight) I find the straps just killing the back of my head. I’ve woke up in the middle of the night because the straps hurt. If there was more points of contact then the pressure would be dispersed; but unfortunately the thin straps dig in. I’ve actually decided to grow the curls back out so this issue goes away. Without that issue it’s perfect though. With the right fit there can be zero leakage ... MoreThis was the first mask I got. The memory foam is a nice feature. Definitely provides some comfort. Magnetic clasp is also a nice feature, makes putting the mask back on in the dark easy. Another nice feature is the exhalation port is dispersed on a ring around the elbow, which is a good thing, less disturbing to sleeping partners. The other mask I use, the N20, for example has a single jet that you can really feel the air moving out of. The only drawback is it is a bit more difficult to maintain your seal, just because of the surface area, but I assume that is the case with all full masks.
