I have various Akubras which I wear depending on the occasion or task at hand. For the past ten years I have been wearing a Coober Pedy as an everyday outback hat. I now wear the Tablelands. Firstly, this hat is moe comfortable than the Coober Pady. The hat is unlined which makes it cooler in the heat. Also, the brim is larger giving better sun protection. Finally, I love the new colour. This was my first order from this website. The service was impeccable. The hat was delivered within three days, in a sturdy box. Thanks so much....

I was so glad to find the Hats By 100 site and their great inventory of Akubra styles and colors.I’m in the US, so shipping from Brisbane,QLD, takes a bit longer to arrive. Don’t let that deter you … buy an Akubra from them and you’ll be glad you did! I now have 4 different Akubra hats from Hats By 100 and they are all fantastic!

Just received the Tablelands hat in the olive/brown and it’s great. Very nice color and excellent shape/style. This is 2nd purchase from Hatsbythe100 and have had no issues with delivery to east coast US. This is my 3rd Akubra hat and the sizing has been very consistent across the different styles. Highly recommend the Akubra’s and Hatsbythe100.
This is the third Akubra Tablelands hat that I have purchased. I already have the Sorrel Tan and the Sand and I love wearing them both. When I opened the box with the Brown Olive I as was very disappointed. The brim was badly deformed. I think this happened when the hat was made but whoever packed it at Hats by the 100 should have noticed this and replaced it. As it is, I managed to get the brim into an acceptable shape using a lot of steam from my kettle. I have to say I cannot fault the packing, it was the hat itself and more care should have been taken and the hat replaced with one with an up damaged brim

Ordered it on June 18 2020 and despite the Corona virus situation delaying all post my hat arrived on my door step here in the UK superbly boxed and secure in 18 days. So there's plenty of that well known UK scorching summertime left to wear the hat out and about! The went for the "brown olive" version but actual colours can be quite difficult to see on the website images so to be clear this is basically a lovely dark green. The colour is deep and rich and gives the hat an "elegant" look. I would say you could wear this fella virtually anywhere - formal or informal - and all year round as these hats keep your head surprisingly warm in the winter time. I would say you could wear this fella virtually anywhere - formal or informal - and all year round as these hats keep your head surprisingly warm in the winter time. The hat is superbly made, has a fantastic quality feel to it and is, I think, the ideal compromise in terms of size to give very good protection from the Sun / rain whilst not being too big for general use. The bound edge gives good rigidity and the hat feels solid on your head. As with all Akubras you can steam it and reshape to your taste very easily. I have a Cattleman hat which is very similar in size and shape but to be honest I prefer the Tablelands with it's narrower "tear drop" pinch crown. If you're not sure what size to buy I would say measure your head carefully as described on the Hats By The Hundred website and then go up by 1 size. Order some extra hat pads to insert in case your hat turns out to be a bit wobbly on your head. These work brilliantly to enable you to get a comfortable fit. The other recommendation I would make is to buy a chin strap for those windy days when you really don't want to be losing your hat over a cliff edge. The Hats By The Hundred straps are quality leather pieces and very easy to attach to your hat (assuming the hat has breathe holes) and to remove if you don't need it on a particular day.
I recently bought the Akubra Angler form Hats by the 100 and loved it so much that I wanted a second Akubra. This time I was looking for more of a everyday hat and one I could wear fly fishing so I didn't want it to be lined like the Angler. Got the Tablelands yesterday in the mail here in the USA, came quick when you realize it's coming from halfway around the world! Opened the box and LOVE the color, style and fit! My only problem is it makes me want to add another to my Akubra collection!! Thanks to all the great folks down under at Hats by the 100! I'm sure I'll be back looking at another great product from Akubra!
This is one of my many Akubra hats purchased here at Hbt100. I purchased a Cattleman in Bluegrass with in the supplied image is green, but in reality has more blue than green. So I purchased this Tablelands in Brown Olive which is the perfect forest green. The hat is stiff shaped felt that is much less flexible that the Cattleman. I like it and have enjoyed wearing it for a few months now. The braided leather band adds an attractive touch. I've gotten much use out of it.
I had to wait for sorrel tan but it was worth it. I like the bonded edges, the fact it’s unlined and although the crown is similar to the cattleman that I also own, it fits my head better. I prefer the Australian look over the American cowboy hats because what good is a hat for protection when the sides are curled up? Always had my eye on the tablelands but wanted a color that was in the middle of light and dark. This hits the mark. I’ve owned 5 akubras in my life, each serves a purpose
I received my tablelands in olive brown and I'm delighted with it. I have two much older cattleman hats and this is a far better style and so is my daily wear now. It seems the crown is a bit higher and better shape and the colour is more suited for the woods and fields that I spend a lot of time in with cameras. The whole process was easy as is the norm.
