Love the drops. Dry eyes are much worse in winter. Systane Complete eye drops do relieve my dry eye irritation when used several times daily consistently. In summertime one drop at night and in the morning is all that’s needed. So I thought I would try Systane Complete Preservative Free. While the drops work just as well, the dispenser is TERRIBLE. It is wasteful, and despite always trying, I’ve found no way to prevent it. The first drop is very small followed by a large drop and always extra ones streaming out regardless of the squeezing technique. The idea of a blue dot to help direct the drops into the eye may be a good one but only if a new dispenser is designed. I’d prefer to use preservative free but won’t if this is the only type of dispenser they are sold in. The 5 star review is for the solution not the horribly wasteful dispenser, it would have a -5.

The Systane drops seem to work well enough to comfort and soothe my eyes. However, that's when I can overcome the challenge of actually getting the drops in my eyes. The bottle design is TERRIBLE, and I waste as much product as I use. I've used dozens of eyedrop bottles in my lifetime, but this dropper bottle is the worst. I've never had this problem before so it's not as if I can't use an eyedropper bottle. It's almost as if the Systane makers want people to waste the drops and have to buy more of this expensive product. I'm definitely going to ask my ophthalmologist to help me choose a different brand.

Just started and they seem ok so far. Like others have said, I do not like the dropper. I wish it were more like regular other eye droppers that releases the drops easier. It would save the company money plus save us consumers more money too. No fancy dropper tips. It does seem at times to leave my eyes blurry after using. I don’t notice anything great going on yet though. It does not sting. No irritation. Only time will tell. I recommend trying. Expensive though.

I was using a different type of Systane drops when my doctor recommended these. I use several Rx drops each day for glaucoma, which can be irritating. Doctor said to use Systane to soothe eyes and PF would be less irritating. I loved the dropper in the Ultra but the Complete PF is designed to prevent any contamination. After getting used to the dropper, I’m sold on this Complete PF!
My Instructions for eye care following cataract surgery strongly suggest using only a preservative free product for the dry, itchy feeling that occurs. I already had some Systane Complete PF when the first eye was done and I just got more to use after surgery on the second eye next week. It definitely helps the dry, itchy feeling. I just happened to already have the preservative free, but that will be a consideration from now on. If it’s better after surgery, it’s probably better all the time. I’m very happy with the Systane Complete preservative free. It is a little pricy, but my CVS coupons and rewards fixed that to end up with a great price.
I’ve been using these for a couple of years now. Paid for more expensive drops that didn’t help until I realized that the PF was what I needed. Glad I found these! They’re just thick enough that the gel is soothing to my eyes. If I had a negative it would be that I have to give the gel time to soak in, because they slightly blur my vision for a bit. Worth it tho. These are not approved for contacts, so I put a drop in each eye in the mornings. I let it completely soak in before applying contacts. I take the contacts out before applying a drop in each eye at night. This works well to prevent the dryness and irritation associated with wearing contacts. (I’m 50-something…)
I like this because my ophthalmologist recommended it after cataract surgery. I’ve been using it for a year now, and it never burns my eyes like some others. I even use it on the dogs, especially in dry weather my dog was blind because of cataracts. After her surgery, the vet also told me to use these twice a day. They were great and she can see now from cataract surgery great lubricant especially for sensitive eyes
Recommend by retina specialist as the best product to use. With all the eye drop recalls I wasn't taking a chance on a non USA product from a discount store. Eyes are precious. I love the different style bottles available from this company. I use one type. My husband the other. It all depends on how you put drops into your eye. A great product from a great store. Love my local CVS.
I can barley get a drop in my eye!! The way the bottle is designed is Crack! I've got more drops on my cheeks and the bridge of my nose than actually in my eyes. I'd say until they fix their dispenser, don't waste your money!! When I get it in my eyes, it stings and I don't feel much relief. My ophthalmologist recommended these, I was using another of their drops and loved them...maybe after I've squirted these all over my face, I'll just go back to the regular drops
so the drops are great it's like a big glass of ice tea on a hot day HOWEVER the bottles are a pain in the butt. you have to squeeze more than you should and by doing that you kinda lose your position so that the drops hit your cheek or eyelid instead of your eyeballs! Frustrating to say the least. Go for the Balance drops they're in the regular bottle and feel just as good.
