All Clad Stainless Steel Covered Oval Roaster

Did the job nicely. I needed to replace my old roaster. It was much bigger so I was a little worried by looking at the reviews that this wouldn’t fit a large size turkey. I gave it a try anyway. The Turkey shown is 19.57 lbs. I know it’s not the best picture but hopefully it helps. I put foil around the wings and drumsticks initially so they wouldn’t burn (but would’ve done that anyway regardless of the size of the roaster). The lid just fit and the Turkey cooked nicely. The picture is just when I was about to put it back in the oven without the lid to let the skin crisp up slightly. Basting the turkey was fine though a little tight. I wouldn’t say it was so cumbersome that you couldn’t do it effectively. Everything worked out great! Very happy with the purchase.

All Clad Roaster 19.5

I had ordered this in April but did not look at the box because I was going through cancer treatment. I was getting ready to prepare items needed for Thanksgiving and found that this is not what I had ordered in April. Crate & Barrel sent me the 15 Inch All-Clad Roaster and not the 19.5 Roaster. Very disappointing! This is not all that I expected from Crate & Barrel.

Be warned! It's 15", NOT 19"!!

Arrived in a box clearly labeled as 15". When I checked the All-Clad website, they actually also describe it 19" with a reviewer saying it's actually 15 with their picture. The description varies depending on the vendor, but there seems to be only one oval roaster with a lid from All Clad, and it's 15". They must be including the handles in the measurement. This will hold a 12-13 lbs turkey. Anything bigger won't fit. The shipping was prompt and the box was well protected though. So at least there's that.

Beautiful but impractical.

I really wanted to like this roaster! I bought it because it would be big enough to cook a 20# turkey. But the handle on the lid is so tall that it won't fit in my oven without removing the top rack completely which renders the oven as single use while cooking a turkey. That just won't work for Thanksgiving! I really wish they'd move the handle to the side of the lid!

Fantastic Results Roasting 10-13lb Turkey

I learned the old-school method of roasting turkey covered, only to remove the lid for the last 60-90 minutes. This roaster is the perfect size for our 10-13lb turkey. I fit vegetables, cut to size, under the rack and the dome shape ensures the lid does not touch the breast when covered. Yes, our turkey came out beautifully and evenly brownedincluding the thighs, legs, wings; PLUS this cooking method resulted in breast being moist. I only basted after the dome lid was removed. All my other All-Clad is brushed stainless, I love it. I was concerned when I purchased polished stainless but found it cleans up just as easily. I used a wire whisk for the gravy, it did not scratch. The roaster is sturdy, yet lightweight, handles are great. Functional and Handsome

This giant roaster fits perfectly in a standard 30" width oven. You may need to take a rack out to fit the height, as do I. Barkeepers Helper cleans it perfectly. I have to cook big porkbutts once a week and using foil was not efficient or cost effective. Thrilled to keep my oven cleaner and have a gorgeous cooking vessel. Can't wait to try a big turkey in it, read it makes a wonderfully juicy bird.

Gorgeous Roaster

I love this roaster! I've been using an old aluminum one for years and I thought "why?" So I splurged on this beautiful stainless steel roaster. It is everthing a roaster should be, flat on the bottom, shiny, easy to clean. Eerything cooked in it tastes fantastic. Because of the all clad bottom, everything cooks evenly. This roaster is beautiful enough to serve in too!

Highly recommend this excellent roasting pan

This is an outstanding roaster. The thick bottom prevents burning with slow roasts in the oven. The lid fits well and keeps meat from drying out. I cooked my turkey in it this year and it came out perfectly moist and tender. I highly recommend this roaster.

Sturdy and beautiful

I ordered this right before Thanksgiving and it was delivered promptly. I roasted an 18 lbs turkey completely covered (no basting) at 275 for 4 hours and then 450 for 20 minutes. The turkey came out very moist.I had 2 roasting pans before, both without cover. I discarded the last one because the coating was coming off. I bite the bullet this time and ordered this pan. No regrets, this is the best one I ever have. It’s big, so I just keep it in my oven.

The Mother of Roasters

This All-Clad roaster should be my final cookware purchase in 2022. I decided several months ago that I would transition to All Clad from the cookware I was using. It is not until you have one of the Roasters in you oven do you realize that this is the Maserati of Roasters. Its wide enough for any meal I might prepare. Wider roasters exist. But I am not cooking for a platoon. This deep and tall enough for XL hams, turkeys and roasts. The craftsmanship looks and feels like a work of art.
