Over the moon. I am an older woman who has decided I want to buy nice pans for once. I used to cook a lot but don't eat much anymore. I know all about the joys of a good pan and having proper tools and sizes. I would like to be prepared as well. I can afford whatever I would like to buy now but the frugality is still in me. I am buying each pan one at a time and getting great deals. Not a good time to be looking for items with Christmas here, but I have a ton of patience. I read reviews as well. So it is helping immensely. I'm happy so far and over buying a bit...just might have to share, I'm smiling broadly. Nothing wrong with that.

28 Years old!

I purchased my original set of the all stainless 3 ply All Clad pots and pans for our 25th Wedding Anniversary gift to ourselves. That was 28 years ago. We are now into our 53rd year of marriage. As we grow older our cooking needs change and I now felt I needed another small sauce pan. I was delighted that All Clad still made the original pans and it looks just as nice as the ones I purchased 25 years ago! My only "complaint" if you could it that, is that the pans now seem heavy to me, and I sometimes have to ask my husband to lift them off the stove. I recommend them unhesitantly. You will love your All Clad pots and pans!

BEAUTIFUL! Cooks and cleans like a dream!

This pot is wonderful & still looks beautiful after 2 yrs. of constant use! I just LOVE these pots & wish Macy's would have more of them for sale, doesn't even matter if they are on sale or regular price. I want a whole set of these & there aren't any available. To clarify, there may be some sets but I want to select my own so I wish some were "open stock". At 1 time Macy's had several sold separately like the butter melting tiny 1, a 1 quart, a really neat asparagus pot which could also be a pot to boil eggs in that perfectly did 12 eggs at 1time. Where are they now? I've seen some All-Clad pot online here at Macy's that say D3 or brushed but they aren't the same as this 1. This pot cooks exceptionally well. Yes it does perfectly making all of those candies because I had 1 I gave to a friend who had none.

Does not slide around on glasstops!!

Good cookware is hard to find. I've always bought cheaper products and I'll tell you they don't even compare. My first though was I wouldn't like it because it's heavy however this is the only pan i have that does not slide around on my glass top! It doesn't scratch it or slide when I'm stirring. It heats everything perfectly. I've accidentally overcooked things in it and never once have I had any trouble getting it off. I'm not overly fond of the long handle when it comes to storing it. I can't put it in my slide out holder but it doesn't get overly hot when I need to carry it. The pan itself has a very nice look to it but it does show when water dries on it! The size is perfect for our family of 5 and love the deepness of it.

Good for sautéing and nothing else

It is a good sauté pen, but not that good for boiling water, or cooking anything heavy. The pot is too heavy to be lifted using one handle. This pot should have two handles. The pot does not have a “lip”, so when pouring liquid out, it gets messy. The handle is too small and gets very hot. I would not buy this pot again.

Great for Weeknight Dinner

Mom here cooking for two boys and a husband. This sauce pan was my Valentines 2022 gift! Yes, I’ve been eyeing this baby for a while and the hubs finally purchase it for me! It’s a great work horse. I reach for it maybe three times a week, and it’s roomy size Is great for our fam. I’ve cooked chicken breast about 1.5 lbs, corn, rice, soup, potatoes in it so far and I am never ever disappointed. It just really cooks like a dream. I love it so much, now I want the 3 qt and 2 qt versions. I need them all. I love all of all clad products, you really cannot go wrong w this baby

Meets all my expectations

We are very pleased with our new All-Clad cookware. I especially like the grooved handle design which allows you to grip the sauce pan and tip it without it slipping in your hand. The extra grip handle on the 4 qt. saucepan is ingenious for supporting the extra weight. We use the cookware from stovetop to tabletop. A very handsome set of pots and pans.

Perfect All Clad small pot (2 quart with lid)

I own many All-Clad pots and pans. I think they are the best product on the market. I appreciate that they are made in the USA. The quality is outstanding. They make substantial pots and you can see this in the weight of the pot and the construction details. Food cooks perfectly in these pots. I purchased the double-boiler pot with insert in 2020 from Bloomingdale's and now I added the 2 quart pot with cover. The double-boiler pot uses the 2 quart pot as its base. I found this size to be very useful. It is slightly larger than the 1.5 quart All-Clad pots I purchased last year from Bloomingdale's. I like the little bit of extra room in the 2 quart pot. Solidly made All-clad 2 qt saucepan

All-clad is consistently top rated and this 2 qt saucepan is no exception. It's the perfect size for two, heats up quickly and evenly and the long handle remains cool. It's surprisingly heavy for its size, being 3 ply stainless. The lid fits perfectly and the high sides prevent splatters. It's an heirloom and most likely will outlast me .

Very disappointed and frustrated

I was not thinking about writing a review, but since I've read some other people's reviews, I thought I would add mine. I bought two 2qt. All Clad sauce pans about three years ago. I love the look of these pots so much, as well as how they feel in use. So far the only thing I've used this pot for is boiling water. A couple of times, the water boiled dry and the pot turned horribly black, inside and out, with horrible raised black deformations. The pot was impossible to clean, even with Bartender's Helper and vinegar and baking soda. This type of discoloration has never happened in older cheaper pots that I've owned. The discoloration seems to be very deep into the metal, obviously since it distorted the metal as well.
