I purchased my Men's Wool Runners in all black (top & sole) to serve as a dressy yet comfortable shoe. They fit this purpose perfectly. Their light weight and versatility makes them perfect as a travel shoe.They are very comfortable for long walks in town. I understand economizing and using less in order to be greener and reduce impact, but this is the wrong place to do that, especially on a pair of shoes made of wool that's practically compostable.This will be my last pair of allbirds and I will not be recommending them to anyone from now on.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are so comfortable and fit my slightly narrow and definitely flat feet perfectly. The toe box is pretty narrow top to bottom (height) but that just felt snug initially and with more wear has loosened up to where the fit, for me, is perfect. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and these are just right in a 9. Love the reflective laces for both a little flair and noticeability at night when dog walking. The laces also stay tied much better than many of my other shoes. The wool is amazing - breathes reasonably well yet nice and warm @ cold temps, and unless they are submerged does a wonderful job of staying dry. I bought these as an alternative to gortex Salomon trail running shoes for dog walking and general winter wear and am very pleased ... MoreI absolutely love these shoes. The insole is so thick in the forefoot that it shrinks the toe box since your foot is so elevated in the shoe. This causes your toes to feel like they are being smushed in the shoes. When you take the insole out this issue is reduced.The shoe also has a weird ankle/foot support. The ankle support is right on your heel. This issue is also more extreme when using the insole. For some reason, the shoe is stiffer on the outside of the foot. Im not sure why it would be but it seems like there is outside-of-the-foot support which puts unwanted pressure on your foot. This is also worse with the insole in the shoe.I love that the shoe uses renewable eco-friendly materials instead of plastics.
