Even though I had got
Even though I had got the tree runner previously in size 10, the same size in the trail runner was too small. The customer service bot was very responsive and helpful with organising a return and exchange. The new size fits great. Good support and grip. I've worn them at work where I do a little bit of walking, and also for longer suburban walks (40 minutes). They have worked really well.I'm looking forward to trying them out on a trail really soon.... Show more

Get the plasters ready!
Runners - I don't think so! Even a gentle walk in these shoes will give you severe blisters. I only wish that I had read the other reviews prior to purchasing. I tried to swap for another model but without the original packaging and the fact that they had been used meant I did not qualify. All I can do now is post my own review, dispose of the shoes, accept the expensive mistake and end my Allbirds relationship.... Have the black and orange ones, not grey
Love ‘em. Use for hiking. Hiked for years in Asolo shoes. Soles were not thick enough and rocks would hurt my feet. The soles of the SWT are rugged and strong. Soles of my feet no longer hurt. Having better hiking shoes then a company who is primarily known for building high end hiking shoes is quite a feat. Congrats.... Show more

I am definitely not one
I am definitely not one to complain but there are quite a few surprises I had with these shoes. I generally love my all birds for their comfort but even though the sizing is correct these shoes are quite uncomfortable. I know that the soul is meant to be more rugged, and it is, however that has added a great deal of stiffness to the shoe which doesn't make it a great trail walking or running shoe. I'm also very surprised with how porous it is. Other trail shoes that I bought tend to have some form of water resistance because there are always puddles on trails. These shoes let water in the same as if I was just wearing a pair of socks..I really was hoping that these shoes would be the same company flexibility of a tree runner 2, but with the sole durability for ... I can’t express my utter
I can’t express my utter frustration at All birds I have had your shoes for a no of years but for the last 9 months I have been unable to order size 14 Black Trail Runners. Last week they became available and I ordered them but realised within 10 mins that the wrong size was being sent. I sent three e mail replies to All Birds but no response. I then got an e mail to say they were sent and after arrival I had a real problem getting them back to you. They are now sent back. In the meantime I asked for the correct size 14 to be put aside for me. But guess what you were out of stock. So after 9 months total and absolute frustration. Not good enough from all birds!!!!!... I have high arches and
I have high arches and this shoe fit snuggly in place, kind of hugging the arches. It felt weird at first but in a comfortable way, and I've worn these shoes for runs, hikes, and a 3 week backpacking holiday that had lots of caving and jungle hikes and they've not only been comfortable the whole time, but they've also stayed hole free and intact after carrying me on some really rugged, sharp rocked terrain. So far the most comfortable trainer I've bought to date.... Show more

Inferior poor quality and detached sole
Its disappointing to have other shoes far out-last (no pun intended) your shoes by twice as long. The heal has disintegrated on these, and the soul grip layer has fallen apart and detached from the underside. The other parts of the shoe are in good condition, but the toe fabric at the contact point on the soul is completely worn. Very disappointed by the inferior quality. Not uncommon for your shoes (in my experience) sadly.... Show more

I've had mixed experiences with Allbirds footwer over the years but I've stuck with them for most casual tasks as they are generally comfy. I decided to give these Trail Runners a go as a more focused shoe for specific activities, replacing my normal Asics go to shoes. Pretty sure I've made a mistake but am willing to keep trying to break these shoes in. First fit I noticed how tight they were in the mid-foot of my right foot, across the top of my left foot and are very heavy for a sport shoe.5km gentle trail walk and had a huge blister on my left heel, from rubbing against the hard plasticy support thingy. My second pair. First pair
My second pair. First pair lasted approx one year and covered approx 2500kms of mixed seal/dirt/grass. Only shoes I have found with firm enough shank yet soft enough sole to provide both support and comfort, in my daily 8-10km walking regimen. I am a GBS survivor and have suffered from resulting peripheral neuropathy for five years. These shoes are undoubtedly the best option I have found for the difficulties I have.... Show more

Worst blisters ever seen
Do not buy these shoes. Guaranteed to give you the worst blisters you have ever had, they have a horribly designed heal cushion which rips your heals apart. Allbirds will then just tell you to wear a heal sticker every time you wear them as that's what they do. . .... Show more
