Aloe Vera Gel 40X Decolourised AWO's pure Aloe Vera 40X Gel is not reconstituted from Aloe Vera Powder, it is pure Aloe Vera Gel (liquid gel) and contains a minimum of 18.4% Aloe Solids. It contains Minerals (such as Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium & Selenium), Vitamins (A, B, C, E, folic acid), Amino Acids and active components including enzymes and polysaccharides. Aloe Vera is renowned for its vast beneficial properties and has been used for treating skin complaints since ancient times. AWO's Aloe Vera Gel 40X Decolourised is freshly harvested from the leaves of the Aloe Vera Barbadensis. The inner gel (fillet) is removed via mechanical squeezing, filtered to remove the pulp and fibre, and concentrated to 40x. It is then 'decolourised' via carbon filtration to remove residual aloin and reduce the odor to ensure color stability and to minimize the Aloe inherent pungency. It then stabilized with a minute percentage of food grade preservatives, as is needed for all pure Aloe Vera gels. INCI Name: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (99.8%), Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate Obtained From: Inner Leaf/Fillet Concentration: 40:1 Reconstitution Ratio: 1:39 (When one part 40X concentrate is added to 39 parts water, the resulting solution is equivalent to Aloe Vera Gel 1X (fresh juice). Therefore 100ml of Aloe Vera Gel Decolorized 40X is equivalent to 4L of fresh Aloe Vera Juice (Aloe Vera Gel 1x) with regard to the Aloe solids. This consistency can only be achieved by adding thickeners and other ingredients. Due to its high aloe solid contents, this 40x product can separate and solidify at the bottom of the bottle. To avoid this, shake the bottle well each time before using.
