Worth the wait? The cable, not necessarily. It performs perfectly, just like every other CAT6 cable I could have bought. The colour, yes. Having different coloured ethernet cables makes life easy when you have PC, laptop, Xbox 360, Xbox One etc... Trying to teach myself patience, so I didn't mind the wait for my preferred choice :)

Misleading imagery
21 February 2022

This "white" cable is covered in black text telling me how many wires are inside and assuring me it is ROHS compliant. It has been photo-shopped smooth in the photo (it is actually covered in small ridges). Finally, it's not really white. None of this would matter except it needs to be exposed in my house, so I wanted something prettier than this. It's the unadvertised black writing all over it that is the main problem for me. I guess I can paint it?

Good quality, well shielded, no problems seen whatsoever. Variety of lengths and colours is what guided me to purchase this product. Highly recommend them!

Any type of network has its own type of cables. Today’s standard for home and office use is Ethernet. For Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet you need at least category 5 cabling. Ethernet cables can have their connectors attached in two different ways: ordinary or cross linked. You will most likely need the ordinary version, unless you want to connect two devices directly to each other, and even then most modern Ethernet network devices will automatically detect the type of cable you are using and adapt their settings to it, so they will work with both types.
