Alogic Mv2 USB-C 12-in-1 Dual Display Mini Dock

This item is small and compact that can fit on most desks. and easy to transport if you need to move it - plugs are distributed in the correct places. Does git a bit warm when working - so don't place things on top of it. But would be happy to recommend this item. for the price it was. Only down for is that the network plug is on the end so has issues trying to keep cables tidy on desk.

Using 2x HDMI for minitors. Usb for keyboard, mouse, webcam and desk light. Usb-c for charging headphones/mobile. Does an awesome job, even for gaming. I swap easily between work and home laptop by just swapping the hub. Monitors are running 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 resolutions.

Doesn't work on Mac!!!

I ordered this online yesterday and picked it up today. Turns out the dual display only works on Windows. When used with Mac, both display outputs are mirrored. It doesn't say anything about this on the Harvey Norman product description. The box states that it is compatible with all computers with a USB-C port and is recommended for Windows. I found the information about mirrored dual display outputs for Mac on the Quick Start Guide booklet. Had to drive to the furthest Harvey Norman to get this too!! Going back in tomorrow to return this.

Extend to 2 extra monitors

Finally found what I was looking for! Connects/extends 2 extra monitors to my laptop via usb c port. Perfect when needing to use 3 screens. I can also charge my iPhone concurrently. Pricing is reasonable.

Good Value for $

The first one i was sent out was faulty and wouldn't charge my laptop , It was a bit of a stuff around getting through to have it replaced but i finally got on to someone and it was sorted and the lady was very helpful. The new device works great and takes up hardly any space on my desk. Even when you add the price for the charges its still a fraction of the cost for a dock with similar ports & power delivery. The only downside is it doesn't have a power button to power up the laptop but that's not a deal breaker.

Makes my life easier to connect two screens

Great little hub. It’s quiet compact and allows me to have 2 screens connected to my laptop. No power supply required to make it work, although you can buy a 100 w power supply of you wish to charge your computer ‘s battery while using the hub (USB C). Anyways read the label first before buying !

Works for MBP2020 (M1)

I was on an expedition to find an adaptor that would enable me to use my Dual screen setup after my employer handed me a MacBook pro with an m1 chipset. M1s are infamous for their lack of support for dual monitor setup and hence, I found this product after much R&D. Long story short, it did what it said and worked amazingly well. An extra bit is that it needs software called DisplayLink Manager that does some software magic on the limited support m1 hardware. 1 star less has I experienced glitches where the second display won't come up - the classic plug-in 'n out fixes it. And also, it doesn't allow Display rotation for the second screen (if that matters to you), only primary rotates.

Works great and reasonably priced

Great little doc. Had a surface pro previously with an expensive doc for 4 times the price and not as good as this little doc. This is quarter of the price and works great for 2 external extended display monitors. Only gave 4 stars as the lead in to the computer is quite short.

Works perfectly straight out of the box

Everything about this unit is perfect. Your laptop USB-C power plugs into the unit which then powers all the other features, including the screens, laptop and other USB ports. It's better quality and better value than other similar, big-name units.

easy to use USB c power port display hub

works well. easy to setup. makes the desk a lot cleaner with a single cable to connect to the USB c port on the laptop for power and also graphics. note. this does require a separate power block with a USB c connector for power pass-through. I simply used the one for my laptop.
