Although the suit is one size bigger (for Alpinestars Tech Air system) it seems a bit narrow when I try to put it on (compared to my other suits). But once you're in it is perfect.

Excellent suit! The sizes do run a bit small, but once you find the correct size for you it's fantastic. Great quality for the price and good features. The Nucleon KR-R back protector is made for this suit and connects to the back of the suit. The zipper lining is a must. It always stays in place and is easy to remove if needed.

I've had a few Alpinestars one-piece race suits, and this is my second Tech-Air suit that I run the vest in. I got the blue one because it looks awesome in person. Pictures online don't really do it justice at all. In real life the blue is more of a metallic blue, like Maverick Vinales (Yamaha MotoGP) wears. it looks dope.Anyway, I'm 6'1 185, athletic build, and wear a 52, and it fits perfect. Like honestly a custom tailored suit couldn't fit better than this one. There's additional accordion stretch panelling in the back, shoulders, and sides too - more than the regular Missile. And the knee position is great too - the actual knee, not the slider, but the slider position is right where it needs to be as well. When in the riding position, it basically locks right ... Been getting a lot of compliments and questions on it at the track.

I decided to upgrade from my black, two-piece suit and invest in a one-piece, light colored, perforated suit to wear for track days on my big bike and racing my mini-moto. Originally I had my eye on the Dainese Laguna Seca, but they have discontinued it and I couldn't find my size anywhere. I decided to give the Alpinestars a try and was fairly impressed with the quality of the suit, but somewhat disappointed with how little perforation there actually is. The fit is on the snug side, but breaks in well.I've only crash tested it with a low-side slide on my mini. The suit held up well and the armor in the knees and elbows did their job absorbing the impact. My biggest nitpick would be that the suit comes with cheap foam pads in the hips and no capability to upgrade. ... My biggest nitpick would be that the suit comes with cheap foam pads in the hips and no capability to upgrade. I get that women's proportions vary, but there isn't enough room for me to wear armored shorts and the suit still fit correctly elsewhere. I wish that I would have ordered a size larger or gone with a suit with better hip protection options. All in all, the Alpinestars is a good suit for the price. It doesn't fit me as well as I would like and lacks some of the extra protection and features that I prefer to have. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of women's suits out there and even fewer that are light colored and perforated. If I had to do it over again, I would probably have thrown down a few hundred bucks extra and gone with the custom suit that would fit me well and have the features I wanted.
This suit is exactly like the pictures, has plenty of airflow and protection features. The only one thing I would say is that the suit runs just a smidge big. I'm 5'10 155lbs and bought a 50, arms and legs are perfect length but just a tad big on overall fit.
This suit, by far at the very least is outstanding. The quality, style, fit, & most importantly in protection, its all there. I'm more than satisfied & it's $$ well spent.- Fits true to type although I would recommend a size larger to compensate for both chest & back protector. If you opt for the air tech set up then keep that in mind too.If your a US size 10 then make sure that's indeed exactly what you are. And ensure you'd be a 10 reg. Not 10W, MS, JR, or Plus. YOU'D BE A 10 REGULAR. However consideration is given for ladies body type. Complements nicely. If your a true size 10 regular then Id recommend go one size up & purchase the 12. If your a true size 12 regular then Id recommend purchasing the size 14. The actual size number doesn't matter but the fit ... MoreThis suit, by far at the very least is outstanding. If your a true size 12 regular then Id recommend purchasing the size 14. The actual size number doesn't matter but the fit does. I like mine w/a lil breathing room. Plus there's a break in period too.Its extremely comfortable and way more comfy then expected.I do recommend wearing the under armor to help with what its designed for but specifically easier on & off. If you got to get to the rest room then you don't want to fight your equipment just to take care of business.- Quality is not compromised whatsoever. This is one of the best investments any rider can make. Use/abuse its going to last. It's not feather light (as most aren't) but its not overwhelmingly heavy weighing you down impeding performance ability either. Made extremely well. Stitching, details, etc... have not fallen short.-Protection is there. We got damage control and if I take a hit? I'm confident any damage will be minimized by a certain %.-There's many features and options to this model that are not overly complicated. Just a lot of perks to it.-The style? Class never goes out of style yet Its just smoken hot. The esthetics are more than impressive with a lot of class. Mine has teal accents & its just beautiful. Nothing distasteful nor insulting about it.I been eyeballing this for awhile now and once became available then I bought it immediately. Only come to find that upon arrival this was way better then advertised. They under promised yet over delivered with this one. I do plan on investing in several more. And I highly recommend & more than happy with this one.Alpine made an outstanding product.Revzilla did excellent in sales & priced it more than fair. Once you see what you bought then you'll understand. The service was greatI'm more than happy w/what I bought & where I bought it from.
From the other reviews, I was hesitant to order the size that the chart recommended because everyone is saying that it runs small. I am 5'10" weigh 170 and I got a size 50. The first time I put it on, I thought that for sure it was too small, and that was without the air vest. However, when the vest arrived and I tried putting it on, it actually worked. It fits very tightly, but does not cut off circulation/impede breathing. On the bike I am able to move freely as I want. The benefit of it being tight (so I am told) is that it won't snag on something in a slide.I also was concerned about airflow and this delivered. I rode in 85 degree weather and I was actually a little bit cold. I can't speak to longevity, but every other A* piece I own has lasted forever, so I'm ... First off I went with a 52 for sizing. I?m 5?10-5?11 around 170-180 pounds my weight bounces around a lot with a athletic build. A large seemed to fit me really well, the arms and legs fit really well. My chest was tight but in a good comfortable way, my lower back and stomach was just a hair small but isnt baggy. I enjoy that because I want a little room for the airbag vest I plan on getting so that was perfect. The suit is heavier than I expected which is awesome, I feel very protected in the suit and comfortable. About to head out for a ride today to test the comfort on the bike. I?m pretty impressed with the suit because it?s my first one. Super happy how everything came out and you can tell the quality in the suit is very premium. Was a little hesitant to get ... Was a little hesitant to get is as theirs no specific reviews on this suit but I took a chance and I?m very happy I did. Thank you revzilla and alpinestar!
It pretty much came down to Dainese vs Alpinestars. I went Alpinestars because of fit and the ability to use it as a regular suit without the vest, or an airbag suit with the vest. The leather is soft and supple and, after the first session wearing it, well broken in and comfortable. The styling is pretty blah, I wish it were less black (I have the least black of the color options, and it's still a lot - I like bright, bold colors for leathers!). But it's about safety and not style. The perforation is extensive, shoulders down to thighs, and really helps keep you cool on a hot track day.
This is my first suit and I was going more for the comfort fit and this is pretty spot on. 6 foot 195 lbs and went with a 56. Able to fit nucleon kr chest protectors and nucleon kr 3 back protector. The knees are pretty big when standing up but form nicely when in riding position. Overall pretty happy with this suit. Wanted to make sure I was keeping this one so I haven't ridden with it on yet. I would order a size up. Track days hopefully coming soon.
