Finally a womens textile jacket that fits and performs as promised!

The fit on the jacket is awesome! I ordered an XS and it is the first one that didn?t have sleeves that pass half of my hand. It is hard finding proper fitting riding gear as a petite frame woman and this jacket nailed it. The airflow is awesome and the nucleon protection is incredibly lightweight (so is the jacket for that matter, my Banshee riding leggings weigh more I think). I also appreciate the front zippers having a tab to help open and close the pockets while wearing gloves (its about time that little detail made its way into a woman?s textile jacket). The only minor criticism I have is this jacket comes with zero back protection. While I always buy better quality back protectors anyway, jackets usually have a standard protector that you could use if you chose not to upgrade. This has nothing and because of the mesh, there really is nothing at all to protect your back. Again, I don?t really mind this because I also purchased one to upgrade but for those who don?t plan on that, just know this offer zero back protection as-is. I am beyond happy with this jacket and highly recommend it for those looking for a breathable jacket that fits well that also comes with some well-thought features and the ability to upgrade to top quality protection accessories.

Great for the price

Good jacket sizing runs slightly small I wear a medium in everything I got a large because reviews said it runs small and it fit perfectly. Don't have a ton of riding time in it but the things I noticed are its not too hot without the liner but doesn't have great airflow when riding. The shoulder pads thought are amazing I hit a rock in a turn and laid my bike down happened to land on grass thankfully but I believe the shoulder pads helped a ton when I hit.

Great jacket, perfect fit!

I just got this today and was worried about the size but it fits perfectly. For reference I am 5?2? 141 lbs and like to powerlift, I?m normally between sizes of small and medium but I went with the small and it fit perfect. I will say if my hips were any wider it would not fit as I have the waist straps all the way loose but for now it?s great. My husband has the exact jacket in the male version and has had it for a few months now and loves it. We live in hawaii so it?s a perfect jacket for warm weather even in the black color it doesn?t get so hot that it becomes unwearable. Definitely worth the extra money to get this jacket over some of the cheaper ones here.

I love it

This is my first riding jacket, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I love this thing. I spent months comparing items and reading reviews, and I am so happy with my purchase. The built in level of protection makes me feel quite safe, and I love that I can add back and chest protectors for even more. So far I've added the back protector and am happy with the fit even after doing that. The airflow on this jacket is great! I was riding at city speeds only in a Columbia wind/rainproof jacket this spring which was getting pretty sweaty. Switching to this was a complete change, which I am very thankful for this summer. In the fall when it cools down again I will just wear a long sleeve underlayer and I am confident I will still be warm enough. The only thing I ... MoreThis is my first riding jacket, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I love this thing. My first summer jacket

Bought this jacket with the V2 version as I could not decide which one I like more.Out of the box, i could tell that even though they were the same size, the v2 version was slightly smaller. I'm 5"4, 110 pounds. The v3 fit nice and snug, totally comfortable. It has a zipper and velcro at the wrist. Pretty easy to zip it up and the collar part was also comfortable.Sadly, regarding the protections in it, the elbows and shoulders are CE level 1 armors. That would not be a problem, but according to the little manual that came with the jacket, you can't upgrade to Level 2. Since the Stella T-GP plus R V2 jacket came with Level 2 armor, I tried to put that into the V3, but unfortunately It did not fit. How on earth does the company not think about this? The soft, spongy protector that comes with this jacket is ridiculous. Especially the elbow part, since there is no added shell there, like on the shoulders. All in all, it is a decent jacket, but if the V2 would fit somebody i can't see any reason to spend the extra money and buy the V3 version. It's more expensive and offers less.

Sizing Off but Quality Jacket
7 July 2024

I'm 5'7", 180lbs. I wear am XL in street clothes. I bought the 2X and it's very tight, and sadly they don't have a 3X (otherwise, it would've fit perfect). Just took the jacket on a test ride in high 70's weather. It was a little warm, not sure I'll be able to wear it in 80's+ heat and humidity. I wish Alpine would understand not just super skinny gals ride and make more realistic sizes. Otherwise it's a well put together jacket.

Small arms
23 June 2024

I'm 5'4 145lbs and this jacket was almost it. The arms were too long and the bicep portion is so tight! If you even workout just a little prepare for that. The elbow pads do not sit right in these jackets. I ended up just getting the mens jacket and it fits fine

Weird bunching around the rear neck
23 January 2020

So I tried this on in the store as I was searching for a new textile or mesh jacket to replace my beloved older Stella jacket. I also have a Dainese textile jacket, but I purchased that one larger so I can wear cold weather gear underneath. I wanted a jacket that would fit me like a glove for spring and summer riding. I went to my trusty Stella line and put this on. The fit is true, however I noticed that no matter what size I tried on, there was a weird bunching and folding of material behind the rear of the collar. Even standing up straight, the bunching was still very visible. No thanks!

Wonderful Jacket!!!

I ordered a few different jackets actually, and compared to the others, this one is top notch. It fits GREAT, and runs true to size. I am very busty and this one is not binding across your chest. I ordered the upgraded back protection and the chest protectors as well. Still fits amazing. At first I was hesitant because it definitely fits like a shoulders forward aggressive riding stance. Great when you're on the bike, but we also wear this walking around before and after riding. I got used to it though, and I think it is starting to soften up in the shoulders to be more comfortable. All in all, for the price, I can say it is the top price of all the jackets I looked at, but it's also the top quality and fit of all of the jackets I looked at. I do wish it had some zippered vents, so that is why I didn't give it a 5 star on features. But the leather is perforated. And it still gets great airflow.

not the greatest jacket
3 May 2021

overall its an alright jacket but just didn't like the fit. the shoulder pads would dig into my shoulder and it even made it harder to turn with my helmet on. airflow is ok, could be better. i'm 5'5" 145lbs have the size medium. its also too short in the back so when i'm in the riding position it would ride up and leave a gap between the jacket and my pants, made it really uncomfortable. its also black which just absorbs all the heat when its warm out. have owned a few different jackets but this is my least favorite one. if you want a good brand, i highly recommend speed and strenght owned already 3 of their jackets and they are amazing
