The Alpinestars Tech 3 boots have been developed based on the top-of-the-range model Tech 5. Their anatomical profile and high level of protection make them ideal boots for those who are new to off-road and those looking for durable and lightweight boots at a very competitive price. Technical features The main materials used in the construction of the Tech 3 boots are microfiber and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Microfiber is a material similar to leather, in terms of comfort and adaptability, but which, as an added value, offers greater resistance and durability. This material is especially visible in the areas that require more flex such as the front and back of the boot, as well as in the area of the upper finish for greater comfort. The internal area of the boot has been designed to be as flat as possible to provide a greater area in contact with the bike's chassis and thus increase the control of the same. This internal area has been reinforced with a metal plate for greater resistance. The closure system is made up of 3 micrometric memory closures, made of thermoplastic material and a tab with velcro adjustment in the upper area. The 3 micrometric closures are replaceable. The interior of the boot is made of breathable textile material and has soft foam reinforcements in the ankle and collar areas for greater comfort and better shock absorption. It incorporates a replaceable anatomical insole made of EVA material and covered in fabric on the upper part, which provides support to the arch of the foot and comfort. The sole is made with an exclusive Alpinestars rubber compound that provides a high level of grip on all surfaces and is contoured to offer control and touch. This sole is replaceable. Tech 3 boots have CE EN 13634: 2010 certification.
