With the Tech 5 range, Alpinestars have designed some boots that are in between the more advanced Tech 10 and the successful Tech 3. The low design of the foot area and the totally flat inner area are some of the features received from the Tech 10. The Tech 5 are prepared for those that want to compete as well as for beginners wanting Alpinestars‘ quality and style. MAIN FEATURES Upper are constructed from light microfiber with a leather toe box Instep and Achilles accordion flex zones for maximum comfort, control and support. The calf protector is injected with high performance, impact resistant polymer and has a flexible panel developed by Alpinestars, which provides greater control and precision of movement, greater protection to the heel and Achilles tendon and helps avoid hyperflexion. The ankle‘s TPU protection system, which has a biomechanical pivot between the median and lower sections of the boot, helps to prevent damage to the leg by providing progressive relief of the torsion forces. Exclusive dual compound sole perfectly integrated into the multi-density structure of the base of the foot with support included. The sole provides exceptional durability, grip and feel. The medial TPU panel of the side of the boot is reinforced with a rubber insert and is designed to offer an excellent grip to the bike and protection against impacts. The top part of the boot is finished in microfiber in order to keep out excessive water and/or dirt. Soft foam reinforcement in the ankle and boot collar for greater comfort and better impact absorption. Inner lining entirely of fabric. The closure system is made up of 4 polymer buckles, with memory and a quick, easy and precise release/locking system that provides better performance and safety for riding. All the buckles are easily replaced. Removable anatomical insole with EVA foam and fabric lining on top. The boots have CE certification.
