I bought this ramp to be able to easily move my wife in her wheelchair from our family room to the surrounding deck. The deck is 7" below the room, so I bought the 3' model. The ramp is heavier than I initially realized. While the weight adds to its sturdiness and stability, it does make it a bit more challenging to carry and maneuver. However, once set up, it provides a secure and reliable surface for safely loading and unloading a wheelchair.

This little ramp helped a lot. Have been taking her wheelchair out and having to let it drop down and then bring front down. And going back in was very difficult. This solved both going out and coming in issues. Nice and sturdy but lightweight enough to take in and out when not needed. Thanks so much. I may order another, longer, for another area.

Purchased this ramp for a family member no longer able to walk. The ramp has opened their life to some form of normality . They can now leave our home to go outdoors without assistance. The ramp was a small form of freedom regained after loosing their ability to walk. Very much a blessing!
These work for me. They seem sturdy and hold a standard wheelchair with rider ok. Easy to carry around with the built-in handle. Easy to lay where you want and unfold. As to being heavy, well, it is what it is. I have the 3 foot ones. They weight 18 pounds. My bowling ball weighs 16 pounds by comparison. The only thing I would possibly change is to have a longer lip where it lays on the step and some way of having a stronger grip on the step (I don't know what that would be). Overall, though, I like them and they serve the purpose I wanted them for.
I have been experiencing mobility issues and rely on a walker to get around. However, I’ve had significant difficulty navigating the steps at my front entrance. The 6-foot ramp has been a perfect solution, providing me with the support and ease I need to go up and down the steps safely and independently. It has truly improved my ability to enter and exit my home with confidence.
This ramp is exactly what we needed for our van. Now, we can visit friends and family at their homes. The ramp is lightweight and compact, yet sturdy enough to support a large individual in a heavy power wheelchair. It did rattle a bit, but placing a towel between the layers before storing it in the van solved the issue.
I had plans to build a ramp because it's getting harder and harder to get my wife's wheelchair up/down the 5" step at the front door. This ramp is a MUCH better solution. I can use it to get the chair out of the house, put it the back of the van in case I need it at our destination, and then use it again to get the chair back into the house. It folds easily and stores behind the front door when not in use. Much better than a permanent wooden ramp at the door.
Easy to get Mom in and out of the house. No more trying to lift her in or out the door. Small and light weight make it even better. Sturdy as well
